Great in-town location, minutes away from all of Bar Harbor restaurants, shopping etc, extremely friendly and helpful staff, couldn't have been nicer. Room was very nice at the price. I cannot recommend this hotel enough as everything was above average. From making a phone reservation and checking in, to just walking through the doors after a day of sight-seeing, the front desk service was helpful and courteous. I had the job of booking a hotel for my daughters wedding. We were a rather large family, needing over 8 rooms, several with special needs, arriving and departing on different day. This was my first trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Hotel was comfortable, and the room was a good size. Loved the mini-fridge in the room and the high-speed internet. stayed here for the second time in 2009, Nice, clean hotel in a good location at the edge of town, no it is not on the water, but in close access to everything, Has an outdoor pool, small gym and a decent breakfast spread. Also affordable. Friendly staff as well. more

I couldn't be happier with my experiance at the Bar Harbor Grand. The staff was friendly, efficient and accomodating. The rooms and public spaces were clean and well maintained.
