After driving from South Carolina (Pet Transporter) I arrived in Bar Harbor in the evening. Check in was easy. The Staff were very friendly and informative. The cottage was amazing...very cozy, clean & comfortable. Newly redone bathroom was was well equipped with hair dryer & plenty of towels. Wood stove in the living room. Small Frig, micro & coffee pot.... More

Very friendly helpful staff! Clean, quiet, cozy room with a lovely view! Perfect location for sightseeing! Another chair to relax in would have been nice, along with a small table to eat on since there were 2 of us.

It had a front porch with chairs and flower boxes. Out the back door was a deck and picnic table. Motel portion had fridge, stovetop, microwave, free coffee and pot. Place was quiet and clean. Everything you could want.

Stayed in cabin 3 with wife and two small dogs. At first glance I will say the cabin is small. We are not big people, but for even us, it was a tight fit at times. Still after settling in, it was easy to make due. Bathroom and kitchen would be nicer with some additional shelves or hooks to hang... More

We stayed for two nights at the dog friendly motel room #29 and for three more nights at the dog friendly cottage #4. I have very conflicting feelings about Eden Village. I could see its formal glory, smart planning, beautiful grounds, and convenient location. The motel room with two double beds is spacious with the backdoor to the porch, far... More

On the plus side the cottage (#10) was very clean and daily housekeeping was very efficient. The price was also good & the motel is near to Bar Harbor & Acadia. BUT. The place is ancient and far from charming. They need to do some serious updating. In addition its on the main highway & there's constant noise

This was a really nice dog friendly motel. The cottages were cute but unavailable when we needed them. The room was roomy and it had a back door so we could potty our dogs both in the front and back. It was very quiet. There was a large back deck with picnic tables and chairs to sit and watch the... More

Overall, our stay was good. The Weather wasn't. Arrived during the deluge of water from hurricane Joaquin and cloudy and cold at Bar Harbor and Acadia. Good thing the heater and shower worked well. Left a few suggestions regarding amenities within, but that wouldn't preclude us from staying there again.

Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of this motel. Very roomy deluxe motel. Nice eating area inside (could use more light),..also picnic table outside on back deck looking over the woods. Great sunrise each morning! Location nice for going to Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park. We took the scenic tour on shuttle bus as they shut down the road to car... More

Eden village was a very nice place to stay and very close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. We stayed at the motel part and the rooms were nice and clean. It was set far enough from the road so you did not hear any traffic . The management was very helpful with places to see and eat. I would stay... More
