We have been staying at the Cromwell for years - we absolutely love it! The rooms are cozy, and far more traditional than modern - but that is perfect for the location. While the motel is close to the downtown area (you can easily walk) it is certainly not on the main drag. We love that this is a family-run... More

I stayed here while exploring Acadia in October. Everything was quite comfortable and the room had a microwave and mini-fridge. Given the location at the edge of town it was ideal for launching off first thing in the morning without running the gauntlet of downtown traffic.

Great location right close to downtown Bar Harbor, but still quiet. Room was clean and functional. Nice coffee, microwave, and fridge in the room. (This was the family room.) My only complaint was that the towel racks were falling out of the sheetrock and the TV was small.

Sparkling clean with convenient location. Microwave and mini-fridge were very handy. Extra linens and blankets were supplied. Bathroom and room itself was roomy and bright. Stayed on first floor with some noise heard from upstairs but we were so tired from hiking we did not care. The staff was always immediately available for help and questions.

We stayed the beginning of October for 2 nights. The room was very clean, spacious and included a bar-sized refrigerator which was handy for keeping wine and cheese cool. Staff couldn't have been friendlier and were available for any questions or requests we had! The property is a few (short) blocks from the start of the main strip and the... More

Bar harbor is a touristy town and prices are a bit higher - rates at this place are no exception. However, the for a motel this is not a bad place. Our room was on the second floor, one has to use the stairs. It was nicely decorated and very clean. Beds and furniture were good.

We stayed here for two nights based on previous reviews on Trip Advisor. The room was very spacious and clean. This is a family owned motel and their service is top notch. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Location is wonderful. You are only a few miles from the entrance to Acadia National Park and a few blocks from downtown.... More

I stayed her with my mom for 2 nights, and it was fine- nothing special. We did have to lug a bunch of luggage up some steep stairs without any help. It would have been a nice gesture to at least offer. I could hear the next room's conversations, and the decor is quite dated. No breakfast was offered either.... More

Very nice place. Spacious and very clean rooms. Close walk to the town and restaurants. Much better than the hotels in the middle of town. The staff was very nice and helpful. Easy acess to Acadia National Park

This was a Really a good place to stay. Friendly staff. Very Spacious and clean room. Good location close to downtown Bar Harbor. I would have given it 5 stars but the Wi-Fi was slow and intermittent.
