We stayed at the Bar Harbor Motel during the peak of fall in October, and it was a great experience. We stayed in one of the patio queen rooms toward the back, which was near the access path to the park. The rooms were clean. I thought the beds were a little hard, but my boyfriend thought they were comfortable.... More

Although our children are grown now, I couldn't help thinking what a wonderful place this would have been to take them when they were younger. The pool, the playground, the entry in to Acadia National Park, the nearness to the harbor and the town itself, as well as the double rooms for families would have been ideal. Although it was... Wife and I stayed here mid October as a quick getaway to celebrate an anniversary. Not "breaking the bank" to stay here was a plus as Bar Harbor can be very expensive! Staff was nice and the room was clean. It is not downtown, but close enough to walk if you like. We will stay here if available for our... More

We loved the Bar Harbor Motel since is was so convenient to town, secluded and quiet, and beautifully maintained property. Staff was terrific and ready to help on directions, extra towels, pillows, etc. Their breakfast program with resort across the street worth the $8 or whatever it might cost now. Easy access as one could park right in front of... More

Bar Harbor Maine has become our favorite little town. The Bar Harbor Motel made us feel like we were home. The room was clean, the staff was great. They had a laundry room on site, which was great sense our family was traveling for the week. There is a shuttle bus that will take you into town for dining or... More

This was our first trip to Bar Harbor and chose this place primarily for price. It is a mile or two from the downtown area so we couldn't walk, but the short drive was no big deal. Very close to the entrance to Acadia National Park. This is an old style motor lodge (Motel) with individual buildings containing 4 or... More

We wanted a place near Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor and this was perfect. Even though it was on the main road, it was extremely quiet and felt like you were in the woods. The room was very clean. I recommend this place.

Nice place to visit Acadia National Park. You have direct access to the Park when you are walking. We get every day fresh Muffins, Tea or Coffee. Laundry is direct on the place and easy to use. Very helpful service at the Front Desk and excellent Restaurant recommendations in Bar Harbour.

We came specifically to use the bike trails, and the hotel is in the absolutely most perfect location for this. The staff is very accommodating and helpful, And this is a very clean and well-maintained facility. The complementary breakfast was outstanding. Room accommodations are very comfortable, though obviously for the price you're not going to get five-star accommodations. I think... More

Our room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were very accommodating when we decided to stay an extra night and organised for us to keep our room. Some good restaurants nearby and handy for town and Acadia. Breakfast buffet was great. Would definitely go back.
