We had a wonderful view from our balcony for the first evening but most unfortunately, the sea fog rolled in the next day. However, a lovely and comfortable room - staff helpful. 2 deer strolled into the garden and posed for photos!

This is an amazing inn/motel/hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, with necessary appointments. It has free Wifi and free breakfast. Also, while we did not stay in an ocean view, looking out from the lobby, I can say that the view will be excellent. Long over due review. First stayed here last summer. We decided on spur of the moment to head to Bar Harbor. No reservations, but stopped in to check at the Atlantic Eyrie. They had just had a cancellation and we got a room for a couple nights. They do have water view rooms, ours was parkinglot view. Not a problem... More

Views are great. The staff was friendly and food was good. The trolley to Bar Harbor runs out front and seems to be on schedule. We would stay here again. It is a good value.

My family stayed at this lodge for 2 nights along with our dog. I found that there aren't many places that allow pets around Bar Harbor, but this one has to be one of the best choices for those traveling with pets. The rooms floor is tile, so you don't have to worry about a dirty carpet from previous pets.... More

Sits up on a hill with nice harbor views, and sunrises can be quite spectacular. Very clean and well maintained.
