This was our second time at this B & B and we found it just as great this time as the previous time. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. The owners take care to use fresh and locally sourced ingredients. The baked goods are all home made and we treated ourselves to a picnic lunch prepared by Anna... More

My husband and I visited Bar Harbor for our "mini-moon" the week after our wedding in July 2015 and stayed at the Acacia House. It was wonderful! It is run by Anna and Ralph, a married couple, who were very nice and welcoming. My husband had called ahead of time to request one of their packages - that chocolates and... More

I agree that this place is a gem! My husband and I stayed in Room 5 for three nights at the end of July. Our first trip to Bar Harbor and Maine. Acacia House is lovely and was a quintessential Maine B&B. Our room was very clean, quaint, and bigger than I expected. The location is perfect - super close... More

We stayed in Room 9 in June for three nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were some of the best food we ate during our 12 day trip. The location was perfect and our hosts were warm and helpful. Although we didn't use it much, when we needed wifi it worked wonderfully. Couldn't ask for anything more!

A few things about the Acacia House Inn caught my eye when I searched for an affordable B&B in Bar Harbor during a busy summer month -- 1) The owners formerly ran the Morning Glory bakery, and have continued to work their magic at the Inn via daily specials and fresh baked afternoon treats in addition to a menu with... What a wonderful gem! Organic food, organic linens and the nicest people you will ever meet. We talked with Maya over the phone and she showed us our room and a map of the Bar Harbor. She was very sweet to us. Then the next morning we had the most amazing organic coffee, omelet, and fresh squeezed orange juice. We... More

Recently spent 2 wonderful nights at the Acacia House Inn. The hosts, Anna & Ralph, were very kind, friendly, and great cooks. The afternoon snacks were delicious as were the breakfasts. The cinnamon rolls made by Ralph on our second morning were some of the best I've ever had. I think all items were vegetarian however don't let that scare... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at that Acacia House Inn. Lovely innkeepers, delicious breakfast with many choices and heavenly baked goods in the afternoon. Ralph is a premier baker and Anna a terrific chef. I plan on stealing a few of their culinary "just right" touches. We liked that breakfast was served from 7:30 to 9 with the ability to... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights. The room was very charming, clean and comfortable. The bathroom offered fabulous towels and an assortment of aromatic soaps and shampoo, etc. Ralph and his wife were gracious hosts with helpful recommendations for our stay. The breakfasts were especially delicious. Anna uses local farms for the freshest ingredients and there is a special... More

The owners are friendly and helpful, our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious and it was a perfect location. Thank you Anna and Ralph for making us part of your family during our stay.
