Anna and Ralph are just outstanding people who welcome you into their Inn as if you were family. The breakfast is all made to order with sweet or savory selections, and a different homemade pastry each day. My wife and I have stayed here 3 times, and love the location to Bar Harbor. The rooms are always clean, and have... More

We had four nights in Acacia House Inn during early September 2014. No criticisms worth mentioning and every nice thing to say about Ralph and Anna, their B&B, the breakfast, afternoon tea, the room, service and so on.

We were pleasantly surprised by this inn. We were greeted by Ralph, who was very welcoming and spent time telling us all the wonderful things there are to do in Bar Harbor, and making recommendations of what to do and where to eat. This inn has a very homey and laid back feel to it. It is in a great... More

Thank you to Anna and Ralph for creating a delicious, delightful and peaceful B&B! We spent 4 perfect nights enjoying cozy accommodations, unbelievably delicious breakfasts, and yummy cookies and lemonade every afternoon. The inn is walking distance to town, but on a quiet side street. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We've stayed in many hotels and B&Bs on MDI, and this is one of the best. Within walking distance to town, yet located on a quiet side street with plenty of parking. We stayed in #6 (3rd floor) and we're very happy with our room. You can hear other guests loving about the house, but that's pretty typical for a... More

Acacia Acacia House is not a fancy pamper of a B&B. It is a simple B&B hosted by two people who love (and provide) good food and who take good care of their guests. Before I our visit, I called to ask for suggestions of places to eat in the area. Our host graciously spent quite a bit of time... More

If you're going to Bar Harbor, stay here - it's that simple. The location is perfect - right in the heart of town, within five minutes walking distance of everything, and yet on a quiet, residential street. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and offered great advice on things to see and do in the area, including the National Park... More

As if Bar Harbor and Acadia National park wasn't enough, the Acacia B&B comes up to the plate and hits a grand slam. I was here with my wife 4 years ago and here we were on our honeymoon in 2014 again. Ralph and Anna are hands down the best chefs on the island and perhaps ever. The breakfasts are... More

My wife and I stayed at Acacia House Inn for 3 nights in August 2014. Ralph welcomed us during a late arrival (9pm) and helped carry our luggage to the room. We stayed in Room 3 which was nicely appointed and extremely clean. Visiting from NYC where we live in a 1 BR, the bathroom in Room 3 was gigantic.... More

This review is long overdue. My husband and in-laws stayed here in September 2013. I'm from Maine (currently live in New Mexico) and we were meeting up with all my relatives in Bar Harbor for a visit. Our stay at Acacia House could not have been more perfect. The location is amazing -- a short and pleasant walk from "downtown"... More
