I stayed here for 5 days in the middle of July, 2014. I was with my adult son and two of his friends with the main purpose of hiking some of the more difficult trails in the park. We knew we wanted to be in the middle of town for easy access in the evenings. The location here was exactly... More

June provides more than accommodations. Her knowledge and love for this area is infectious she gave us great ideas for very unique and beautiful spots to investigate along with better understanding of the area's life. Her home is so welcoming and comfortable. Our room was perfect. So lovely and clean, home away from home. We enjoyed her breakfasts and looked... More

We stayed at the Yankee Lady because it is located In downtown Bar Harbor and the price was right. We loved that we could walk to the shops, bars, and restaurants and the weather was perfect for that. As others noted, the shower in the Rose Room is very small and the inn could use some updating. Our room and... More

We have stayed at several Bar Harbor B&BS but this trip we needed two rooms. Here we are. One is the now famous tiny shower. Think 2'x2'. Girls were happy with it. Our room with full bathroom. Was good. With a do it myself motif around the tub and throughout the home. Both mattresses were comfortable while our bed was... More

this inn is centrally located, you can walk to the downtown which is very convienient. there is a small lot where you can leave your car. the inn is not anything fancy but it is very homey, charming, and clean. there are modest rooms all with small private bathrooms. you can't beat the price. June the inkeeper is a delight... More

Quaint bed and breakfast on a quiet street close to town. We stayed two nights in "The Rose Room" on the 2nd floor. The room and bathroom very clean, although the shower is very small (both my husband and I are very thin), June, the owner, was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the area. We had strawberry pancakes for breakfast... More

This was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast, so take that in to account here. We stayed in "The Rose Room" the week of Oct. 9 for our honeymoon. It was a quaint little room that my wife said reminder her of her grandmother's house. We found it to be very clean and comfortable, but if you are... More

Our room had hairs in the shower when we arrived. That is just nasty. If you are staying in the rose room, the shower is extremely tight. You couldn't hardly move in it without banging some part of your body on the wall. The room is worn and outdated. The host was nice, and the breakfast was just o.k. The... More

We stayed at the Yankee Lady Inn and found the host to be a wonderfully friendly lady. She prepared a nice simple breakfast each morning with a two hour eating window. This was good if you didn't want to be down at 7am you could come up until 9am. The room we stayed in was a decent size with a... More
