We needed a clean, affordable, centrally-located hotel to stay at when we visited Bar Harbor with our four grandchildren. This hotel was within walking distance to all of the waterfront tours, restaurants and downtown shopping district so we had no need to rent a car. It's not a luxury hotel, but the rooms were clean and the staff VERY friendly... More

This was the most pleasant experience I ever had at any hotel I have ever stayed at. My car broke down right after I checked in at the hotel,, you can just image how that was after I drove 8 hours up from NY. The front desk staff were so nice and helpful. From helping me and my family get... More

We spent a week at the Quality Inn, Bar Harbor, and had a suite which included a small kitchen along with 2 queen size beds and full bathroom. The suites were like mini-cottages slightly apart from the motel in a quiet wooded area with a porch with chairs, and they were totally delightful! The location was private and quiet, and... More

I am not a luxury hotel seeker when I go on vacation. All I want is a clean room and a good location. The Quality Inn has both and a staff that will do everything it can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. At check-in, Max took the time to talk with us and find out what we... More

Room needed definite update. Paid $190 a night...definitely not worth it but it does have a good location. Would not stay here again. Bed was good but furniture looked like 1980's. Front desk nice and offered maps of area.

The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable. The location is an easy walk from downtown Bar Harbor, making it easy to avoid parking problems. The breakfast room is across the street, where there were lots of tables and space. There was an excellent variety of foods available... More

Max on the desk was more then helpful, with directions around the town. And again when I forgot an item in the room. I called and they sent it to me. The room was clean, and they had a barbeque, that night for the guest.

As the new General Manager for the 2015 season I was so glad you enjoyed your relaxing stay with us. We are dog friendly and enjoy seeing our guest with their special friends. We do only have a few rooms located together on our first floor for our 4 legged friends so it is best to call the hotel directly... More

The hotel is not brand new and the rooms are a little small BUT it is conveniently located on Mt. Desert Island, the breakfast offerings are second to none with variety from day to day and plenty of food. The pool is suitable and well maintained. Our room came with a small fridge and a microwave. The single serve coffee... More

The hotel is an older property, but it is well maintained. The location is off the beaten path, but is only a few blocks from the Bar Harbor shopping district. It's very close to one of the Acadia National Park entrances. The breakfast area is across the street.
