We camped in the rain the night before, but wanted to see Acadia in good weather, so we looked for a room our second day in the area. The Quality Inn allowed us to check in early, which was a blessing on a miserable day. The door didn't close properly, which worried me a bit but was no problem. The... More

I have never stayed in a place like this in my entire life. Let's give it some positive points before i bash it to death. Great location if you're vacationing in Bar Harbor. It is within walking distance from all the excitement and easy few minute walk to town. Parking is awful downtown so it is awesome you can just... More

I was nervous when the room description was "small room" but pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The room was comfortable and clean. The walk up to the room was not for the faint of heart - especially on a muggy hot day. But I liked that the balcony was shared by only two rooms. We never saw our neighbors in... More

We bought the package deal which included 4 nights, 2 tours for 2, & 2 great dinners for 2. The price, incl tax was $725. The dinners were both at the famous bar harbour inn on the bay. We ate at the outside restaurant the first day for the lobster bake. It was good but we were expected to crack... More

We went to Bar Harbor very last minute. Saw the hotel - looked on Tripadvisor - it had ok reviews - so we expected an average hotel. I must say - The room was very nice. It seemed to be recently updated and clean. The location was excellent to walk to town. Overall I believe we made a really good... More

This hotel is a 10 minute walk to downtown. Stop in the Episcopal Church while walking there to see the Tiffany stained glass windows or visit a museum. Ample parking, super selection of breakfast items, helpful staff, comfortable beds, microwave, A great place to come back to after busy days in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Would return again.

Wonderful location, and the absolute best breakfast selection I have ever seen in a hotel, although you did have to walk across the street to another building to have breakfast. The outdoor pool and hot tub were very dirty (lots of floating items) and a very long, stair filled hike. The room was good, but the bathroom was epic small.... More

Stayed here last weekend, staff was very accommodating and friendly, complimentary breakfast was better than most Choice Hotels I've stayed at. Has a pool for the kids and hot tub for the adults. We were traveling with our dog and they were great about it.

let me start by saying I have very mixed opinions about this inn. and in all fairness it was still the off season and they were just getting back up and running for the season. my first impression wasn't all that great based on outside appearance. There are not water views as the description led me to believe. But being... More

If one is visiting Bar Harbor for purpose of enjoying Acadia National Park, then this Hotel is very conveniently placed. It is very near, about 2 miles from the Park and in the evenings, when the Park is closed, the High Street with its wonderful walk, views, ice cream shops, good eating places, and ofcourse the cinemas are just walking...
