We have stayed at Seaside a couple times in recent years and have always been pleased with every aspect of our stay. The cottages are clean, bright and well equipped with great views. Carroll and Gail are wonderful hosts, very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We recommend Seaside Cottages in any season.

These cottages are just a delight. Right on the water, with stunning views, and a bedroom, lounge and kitchen if you want to eat in. A little distance from Bar Harbor so you do not have to be with the crowds, but well situated to go and see all the sights and beauty of Acadia Nat'l Park. I'll never forget... More

We had a beautiful one bedroom cottage fully equipped with a view of the cove right outside our two windows. Gorgeous ! The property is immaculately kept and the cottage is comfortable and clean. It is a drive to bar harbor and Acadia national park or you can catch the shuttle close by. It was a minor inconvenience to have... More

Nothing bad to say about this location. The Lelands, who own the property, went above and beyond to help make our vacation top notch. Our cottage was clean and spacious. The property itself is so peaceful and relaxing. About a 15 minute drive from the tourist district of Bar Harbor, but well worth the travel. Our family had such a... More

When we travel, we enjoy staying in cabins or cottages and have stayed in many. Nothing can compare to this beautiful cottage. I found Seaside Cottages on an on-line search and booked cottage #7 for my husband and me. It was like having your own private condo. The cottage was immaculate and had every possible amenity you can imagine. Right... More

First of this is not a hotel, it is one of 8 cottages on a lake near the acadia national park. It's in a cove, that leads to the ocean. Efficient cottage, clean and so quaint. I loved the view of the ocean from our cottage and the refreshing atmosphere. It's worth a trip to Bar Harbor maine. No noise,... More

This was our favorite place that we stayed at while in Maine in September. We had cabin 8, which is a two bedroom cabin. It was very quiet and comfortable. We loved having a kitchen to make breakfasts in the morning and enjoyed the view from the kitchen table out to the cove outside. Other cabins have better views than... More

The moment we arrived, we knew that this was a very special place. The cottages are right on a lovely cove, with fir trees surrounding, far enough from the highway that you feel like you have the ocean to yourselves. The quietness and tranquility, seeing seals and a bald eagle, watching sunsets over the ocean, eating out on our deck... More

The location is amazing , the view from the shore awesome , and the cottages cozy, but they could have been cleaned a little better. The kitchen was nice but the rest of the furniture outdated. They were expensive comparatively to the other cottages for what you get.

My wife and I have been going to Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park nearly every year for 30 years. After about 15 years of staying in different locartions on the island, we came upon Seaside Cottages, and have been returning (again almost every year) ever since. We have stayed in Cottage#1 with family and friends, in Cottage #5 as a couple,... More
