I booked the Executive Suite because it was the only hotel that had rooms for rent. I am a Diamond Level with Hyatt, and a Platinum Level with the Marriott, so I know what Executive level means. This hotel is far from that. I would put it lower than the motel chains. My check in was ok. I was promised... More

The room was clean but the room's curtains and the lamps' shades had lots of holes. The bathroom was a good size, clean and everything worked. The internet in the room was agonizingly slow that you could not open a webpage or download an email without attachments. One has to go down to the lobby for internet access - but... More

We live in Guam, but wanted to stay in the Tumon area. Nothing is convenient at this hotel. You check in upstairs and are expected to haul your luggage up an escalator. The room was not very cool and had a funny smell. There were two small pillow on a bed that had seen better days. It looks like they... More

This hotel is quite rundown and needs a good overhaul. It smells strongly of damp, and has mould growing on the windows. The sheets and towels feel damp, and in the night my toilet leaked and put an inch of water over the bathroom and hallway floor. We were meant to stay three nights but checked out in the morning... A friend of mine missed his flight so I booked a night for him at this hotel and also stayed overnight. It is a good value if you are just looking for a place to sleep in Tumon. It is in a convenient location, nearby restaurants, stores, and within walking distance to Kmart (you have to walk the hill and... More

Ordinary good hotel considering the fee. Can walk to the beach, park. It's a minute walk to K mart and Jamaican yummy restaurant. No problem if you can speak in English.

After a long flight with my family we were looking forward to resting in the beautifully pictured Royal Orchid Hotel that we researched on the web. As soon as we walked into the musty smelling building I had a bad feeling that only went down hill from there. The room was in awful condition, damaged fixtures, stained walls and mold... More

My Husband is in Guam for business and checked into the Royal Orchid Hotel on Wednesday, September 2, 2014. His check out date is Saturday, September 13, 2014. From the moment he checked into Room #620, the internet in his room never worked. After a few days of complaining to the front desk, they moved my Husband into Room #425... More

the title of the review sums it up. The positive: the staff was friendly, lobby internet worked well and room was quiet, hot water worked. The negative: the gym equipment was not oiled, maintained and frankly dangerous, gym is not useable, no cold running water in bath (so i had use the ice bucket to fill up with cold water... More
