I spent a lot of time researching hotels before our trip; unfortunately, all the reviews had similar complaints about all the hotels. This hotel is in Tumon; it is definitely the best beach on the island. This area consists of a long strip of hotels with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The check-in is smooth, the staff... more

I'm not sure why there have been so many negative reviews. I found the Hyatt Guam to be outstanding. Everyone I encountered was exceptional (kudos to bellman Harry for helping me get a package back home). The pool area is beautiful and probably great for kids. Nice beach access with snorkel gear and beach items available. Easy walk to restaurants... more

Having not had a great experience on my way out to Micronesia in The Hilton I decided to stay at the Hyatt on the way back and very glad I did, although again forgotten at the airport, they more than made up for this. The staff were very apologetic and didn't charge me for any transfers and checked me in... more

We were pleased with this hotel. The lobby and public areas are very nice and the pools and grounds are nicely landscaped. The beach is beautiful, white powder sand. The water was crystal clear with a nice sandy bottom. You could walk a long way out before it got deep. Looks like all rooms have full ocean views and we... more

Just returned from a four day business trip to Guam, and found this hotel the perfect mix of business and leisure facilities. Great pool including poolside bar - and a 24 hour gym made work downtime very rewarding. Fantastic broadband, spacious desk and a view of the bay made the serious part of the trip easy. Great food in the... more

Every stage (from booking, to occupancy to departing) was hastle. Staff that I delt with hardly spoke English, hardly knew anything about their hotel, and noded and said yes to everything. Saving grace was front desk manager and assistant - but as managers of incompetent people they need to ask themselves some serious questions. Guam has more visitors then Korean... more

I arrived and listen as the older bellman told the younger one "Say Welcome to the Hyatt" he didn't he was too shy I must have been his first guest? The front desk was no different, the staff were clearly all new and knew none of the answers such as, do you have wireless internet in the rooms?... "I think... more

Some reviews below make it seem bad. I just wanna say I have stayed at this hotel several times from 2005 to 2007. It is in one of the best spots. If you dont know, the Hilton spot is much less convenient if you want to walk to the big shops. Hyatt is right at the shops. Hyatt is attractive... more

Just returned from a 9-day buisness trip to the Hyatt Regency in Guam. Despite some of the warnings from reviews on this site, I chose the Hyatt based on its location and reviews of other similar properties. Upon arrival, the renovations were still well underway continuing even during the weekend. The lobby area was, as described, a few desks manned... more
