Location is excellent for vacationers. The facility needs updating and better upkeep. I saw some airline crew, military personnel and budget conscious vacationers stay here. Not the best for a honeymoon or romantic stay.

All rooms have excellent view to the beach. The hotel rooms are damp including carpet and overall rundown. The location is excellent. Service is great. Shops across the hotel. Excellent big balconys in all rooms. Didn't try food but heard the breakfast buffet is not very good.

This was a Marriott hotel. The pool bar advertised is gone do to a typhoon. It is closed and boarded up..same with hot tub and small kids pool closed and or filthy condition. Regular pool was very nice and easy swimming. There is still a covered bar outside near pool. Nice rooms. Refrigerator, safe, large bathroom, coffeemaker included in room.... More

Pros: Right on the beach Friendly Staff Cons: Continually have to resign into their WIFI network Rooms are really old; furniture/drapes/deck/carpet really worn. Tiles in bathroom were broken and the shower fixtures tightening lever for height was broken. Food was really pricey, the breakfast buffet cost me $18 dollars and the food was cold. Summary: All in all, I wouldn't... More

This was our second stay at the Pacific Star in Guam. Obviously, we like it or we wouldn't return, but if they don't get their pool situation sorted out, we won't. First, the good points: 1) Staff are universally friendly, helpful and kind. They're the treasure of this place! 2) Location is ideal for our purposes -- within easy walk... More

This hotel is a major dump. Don't let the lobby fool you. The rooms are beat to hell old dated smelly carpet, the sliding glass doors in your still say Marriott hotel on them. What are they to lazy to remove them. The rooms smell like toxic mold. Plus they charge up the ying yang for everything $15.00 for Internet,... More

I was put into this hotel by my airline which stranded me in Guam for the night. The lobby is somewhat grand, and there was quite a bit of activity late in the evening. Check in was professional and efficient. Room size is average. Bathroom is average. I was on the 11th floor and the view is actually was quite... More

All the employees that we met were very friendly and helpful, from the front desk staff, cleaning staff, servers at the restaurant. The lobby is pleasant and clean, and looks modern. The room itself was not too bad. I had read reviews about the room smelly musty or moldy but we did not have that experience. The furniture looked fairly... More

Great staff that do a nice job in the hospitality department. I was here for four days and found so many things that need repaired. Laundry facilities that have soap dispensers that are empty and numerous machines out of service. My room had carpet with numerous stains, which made me pretty uncomfortable to walk around without shoes on. It was... More
