these folks worked their tails off to make the guys feel welcomed. Due to guest volume, the group had to share rooms; cots and roll-outs are better than sofas. ;o) more

The rooms were cleaned and very nice. I went there with my son and family for the weekend. What a wonderful getaway. They have four children and the kids were never bored. They had the pool, which they loved and breakfast. Simple, yet filling. Friday evening we went to the restaurant next door, where they had a great buffet and... more

This hotel is approximately 5 years old. It has all the modern comforts that a typical US hotel chain would have including an outdoor pool, internet cafe, on-site ATM bank machine, laundry, gift shop, hairdresser, spa/massage, on-site restaurant except the hotel has ZERO personality. It would be a lovely place to stay if the rooms weren’t so expensive and the... more

BEWARE: They charge you the entire stay up front. If you leave early it is HELL getting a refund. It has taken us about a week and we don't have it refunded yet. I changed the reservation of a team member that was arriving late to one night instead of ten. Upon his arrival, he was charged for ten nights... more

I stayed at the Tradewinds for a weekend. it's not in a great location for people who want to visit AS and stroll around exploring the island, but if you rent a car, it's fine. It's not within walking distance to the beach, but is within walking distance to a few stores and two restaurants. It is the newest and... more

Needed a nice hotel to stay while on business. Super friendly staff, the airport pickup was great as I arrived late at night. The rental car was clean and very new. The wireless internet in the coffee shop was appreciated . Overall I was impressed and no mozzies, will certainly come again as I didn't expect this high standard of... more

the tradewinds was fine and staff are lovely. but it is located in the middle of a fairly unattractive neigborhood and so there was little to see when jogging in the morning. the deluxe suite had a nice sitting area with a sink, refrigerator, and tea/coffee making facilities. the business center has very slow internet access and no printer. warning... more

My family of 5 stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. Very clean, friendly and comfortable. The only down fall of the stay was I had traveler checks and it cost me a 1.00 for every $100.00USD cashed at the front desk versa what Bank of Hawaii charged which was 3.00 for every $100.00USD I just wished that no one... more

The Tradewinds is the best thing going in American Samoa. The place was very clean, modern and the staff was friendly and helpful. In comparison to other accomodations on the island, this place is a must. They have a nice restaurant and a really nice pool. more

The Tradewinds hotel in American Samoa was great. The rooms were spacious, and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. When you travel the Pacific, you learn to expect a few bugs and geckos. The Tradewinds was an exception -- not one bug or lizard in sight! Also, the free airport shuttle service was great - even when we had... more
