To all of the negative comments posted, you get what you pay for. A few coworkers and I rented several condos for the month while here on business. The price is cheap and we have saved a couple thousand each on per diem which would not have happened had we stayed in Waikiki. For those of you who came on... more

We stayed here for two months in a small but nice unit with a beach view. The beach is actually a little lagoon area and if you want to lay on it you must ignore the homeless and high school kids walking on it to get to class. It is also a VERY small beach area. For people who have... more

I found a listing for an "inexpensive Hawaiian vacation" on craigslist.com, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The place we got was a studio, had a full kitchen and a view from heaven! The wonderful owners rent it out to guests when they go off island, and they even let us use their truck...which saved us hundreds... more

The Makaha Surfside is awesome!! It's like staying on an island paradise, it's tranquil, beautiful and the staff including security is so helpful! I can't wait to go back. I've heard it used to be a run down building but it has been beutifully restored, the grounds are tropical and well kept. We had the best oceanview from our room,... more

I just loved it! I enjoyed it so very much that I just bought a unit there. For all the people that stayed and didn't enjoy it I am so sorry for you. The security gaurds and friendly and go out of there way to make you feel comfortable and safe. The parking is a little tight and the units... more

I agreed with all previous negative postings. This place is really really a joke. The unit I rented was about 285sq (very small) for $1300. The only thing close by that you can walk to about 2 blocks away is 7-eleven. Do not walk at night (scary area). Security guards at this place have nothing to do. They constantly walk... more

We lived there for a few months when we first got to island with the military and I can not say how bad this place is. We were majorly ripped off on the price 1250.00 for a small one b/r. No one was friendly and was i wouldn't/couldn't go out at night. When we moved no one helped me as... more

We stayed in building A for a month in December. This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. It is off the tourist path and I think most of the units are owned by people from the mainland because there were not a lot of people living there. The locals we encountered were... more
