The 16 story property is located on a beautiful sparsely used beach. The sunsets were beautiful. The water is relatively calm allowing safe snorkeling, although the fish are sparse. We did see turtles on several of the days we were there. The kitchen of our unit had been remodeled, but the rest of the unit was dated. There was a... more

We returned a few weeks ago, and we loved it there the minute we saw the view from the lanai! After traveling for 13.5 hours from WNY we were excited to get to our room; and although it was dark we still thought the room looked great. A lot of the other reviews seemed to focus a lot on the... more

We stayed in a corner unit from March 31 to April 9. When we arrived at the front gate to the property; the gate automaticly opened and we drove in. We were imedeatly greeted by a security gaurd. She guided us to the elevator, gave us instructions to find our unit and pushed the button to our floor. She said... more

Ignore the comments about being in a rough area - it may have been rough years ago, but apart from car crime (just don't leave any valuables in your car) this is a gorgeous location. The condo we stayed in (#104 on beach level, Arlene Kelly's) was equipped with everything we needed and has been updated recently. Polyester sheets weren't... more

Just got back, today (12/22/07), after a week in a one bedroom at the Princess. A real gem you shouldn't overlook. Positives: Secluded. No crowds. Turtles in the cove. Beautiful beach. The swimming was great, but, we understand the waves are usually very large which would look wonderful, but, hinder swimming. Very clean probably due to recent remodeling. Fantastic sunsets.... more

We vacation a lot, and alomost all the time stay at private condos a little further away from the crowd. In that regard, the H.P. was fine, but the problem is not meeting what the advertise. We were looking forward to playing tennis, and what a dissaoppointment, the court was unmaintained, torn net and all. The pool and jacuzzi was... more

This was not exactly a last minute trip, but we booked everything just 3 weeks in advance. With several other activities going on in Oahu during our travel time, rooms were hard to come buy and averaged a great deal more then our condo did ($250 vs $130 per night). Being from Missouri where $100 hotel rooms are usually in... more

The Princess offers an efficient out of the way beachfront panoramic peace of Oahu on the island's westside. We had ocean and lush mountain views. The locale put us away from any hustle and bustle and in the midst of every day hawaiian life. For beauty, peace and solitude this served us well. The beach had a quaint life of... more

We recently returned from our trip to Waianae and I'll have to admit after reading some of the reviews of the Princess and local area we were a bit skeptical. O.K. so there were homeless sleeping in tents on the beach, but they didn't bother us! No, there are not a lot of great resturants - if we wanted that... more

/we stayed at the HP for a week in Aug. 2007. and although we are believers, just seeing and enjoying God's creation of Hawaii is proof of how awesome and great He is. We enjoyed our time at the HP, the view was beautiful, the private beach was great cause it was not crowded at all. We were able to... more
