My husband and I stayed at MBC unit #B812A for an entire month last year (Dec. 2014) with our 2 boys (11 and 12). They had a blast, had a hard time getting them out of the ocean. They woke up at 6 am with dad, and went fishing off the coast of Turtle Beach. Caught 12 fish (that we... More

My wife & I stayed at this unit on the 8th. floor in October of 2015. The unit was decked out, granite counters, walk in tile shower, lots of storage, i.e.. drawers, a flat screen TV in each room & more. The icing on the cake was Gloria. She was so helpful, accommodating, generous & went out of her way... More

This was our first trip to Hawaii and we didn't want to be in Honolulu with all the other people and tourists. This apartment was beyond our expectations. Gloria Alamendares (owner) was very helpful and very nice. She followed up with us and kept us in the loop. The apartment itself is amazing, all updated and and worth the money... More

To die for evening meals on a very private balcony with beautiful sunsets. A bit of a hike from Honolulu, but heck.....the extra distance creates the solitude you seek.Great Thai takeaway plenty of service stations and shopping centres.Must hire your own car for convenience sake. cheers

We are currently staying in 406 and we both LOVE it ... The view is outstanding , the condo is clean with nice comfy furniture , lovely bedding and towels and plenty of both . The kitchen is equipped with everything we have needed and we have cooked here most evenings to enjoy the sunsets The equipment for the beach... More

We stayed on the 8th floor which had the most awesome views. The beach and sunsets from above the water are really beautiful. The sand on the beach is very, very soft and you have to push to walk through the sand. So if you are a walker like us, this beach is too much work! The surf can be... More

I've read some of the horrendous reviews left by several guests and I am incredibly confused. My husband and I got married May 10, 2014 and stayed in unit a107 from the 11th to the 18th. We both have nothing but amazing things to say about the unit. There were NO bugs and everything was immaculate. I did some research... More

Our friends stayed in 115b while we had 107a which is run by an agency. We found sand, cockroaches and balls of hair under the couch. Sand on the hideaway bed when we pulled it out. The microwave tray had old blood on it. Stains on the bedspread. I just felt dirty being in there. See VRBO for more info... More

My Criteria for Accommodations: If I’m going to be near an ocean, I’m going to be ON the ocean. I’m going to be able to sit there and watch the waves unobstructed. I’m going to be able to hear them. Second, the limit for a place to lay my head on a pillow for 8 hours is usually $75 but... More

First off...you come to Makaha to get away from "the people"...Waikiki is great and we loved staying there for a few nights too but Makaha is "Country"...lots of locals and no crowds. My cousin lives in Makaha and recommended the Cabanas to me. I did some research before booking and decided that I wanted a bottom floor unit that walks... More
