Very expensive! It is a remote location so they can jack the prices up on food without concern. A couple can expect to spend at least $200.00 a day on food. That's only if you stay conservative with the menu and didn't order alcohol with your meal. The suite was outstanding. I couldn't imagine a better resort on Oahu. Make... more

My family and I (two adults and two kids aged 5 and 4) spent five wonderful nights here in June. We stayed in an ocean room with magnificent views over the pool and ocean (well worth the extra money) and had plenty of space or the whole family - the bathrooms in particular were enormous. The kids loved it and... more

We visited Oahu for a week's vacation and stayed at the JW Marriott at the Ko Olina resort area. This was the perfect location for "getting away" while being within driving distance of all the sites on this beautiful island. I have visited the islands over 20 times and really enjoyed staying for the first time at this hotel. We... more

My husband is a Marriott Platinum Elite member and we booked 2 rooms at this property. In the past we have always stayed on the strip in Waikiki and loved it. You can walk out of your hotel and have restaurants and shops at your fingertips. So I was a little concerned about staying so far from the action. The... more

When it comes to visiting Hawaii, I prefer Maui. So when my girlfriend asked if I wanted to accompany her to Honolulu for a meeting, I was somewhat reticent to joining given I had no desire to contend with tourists in Waikiki. I had stayed at the JW Ko'olina when it first opened, so I suggested that we try it... more

OK. There are a couple things you need to know before staying here. One - this is NOT a five star hotel (although everyone of our local friends told us that this was the best hotel on the island - which would then lead me to go to another island but we were going to Oahu for a wedding) I... more

My husband and I just got back from the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and we had a fabulous time. We got upgrade to a deluxe ocean view room because we are platinum members as well as on our honeymoon. The food got a little old after a few days of eating at the same restaurants. There isn't a lot of... more
