Well this wonderful hotel that at one time was a Nikko Hotel is transitioning to Four Seasons. I was there in January and many of the wonderful decor was being removed and from what I understand starting in April 2015 it will go through a 10 month renovation. I suspect this is due to the Aulani and Ko Olina beach... More

My wife and I were here for our honeymoon in March 2014 and we really enjoyed our visit. The room, the grounds, the restaurants, the beach and everything else about this hotel is beautiful. It's located far enough from Honolulu to avoid the crowds and congestion, but close enough to most of Oahu's attractions to be able to get there... More

Just got back from a fantastic Oahu trip. We stayed in Waikiki for 5 nights but then rented a car and stayed here in Ko Olina for 9 more nights. We wanted to stay here at the Marriott and made sure we booked here but then later found out they were closing the day we were checking out. So we... More

Old hotel, restored but not perfect. Restaurants are bad, very casual, sushi place is bad. Stairway to the pool and beach is always very windy. Pool is small, what they call beach it is like small pond, you can't swim in any place. Didn't like that place.

I am a devoted Marriott platinum member as I literally live in marriotts during the workweek and can honestly say our experience at this hotel has not been matched by other marriotts we have visited while on vacation. Just as a handful of the staff took their time to make sure our stay was perfect, I want to make note... More

Stayed here with points. Totally worth it. Seems smaller than other area resorts. More intimacy. By and large a great stay. Some of the bathroom fixtures needed updating. The lagoon was great. Highlight of the stay. The sushi bar was excellent. The pool side bar was just ok.

Well, I've stayed in many hotels in tropical locations and this one was absolutely perfect when it comes to location, views and ambiance. However it is starting to show signs of wear and needs some TLC. The hotel is being converted into a Four Seasons - nice to have stayed here before it closes for the next 12-18 months.

We stayed here 2 nights. The place was virtually deserted. soon we found out why. It's closing down in a week. Which explained a lot of things. The food was dreadful. Our first night's meal at the Ihalani was sub par. My fish was overcooked, had no wasabi in the wasabi sauce or soy glaze. It had a lump of... More

We spent the first week of our 3 week honeymoon here and by far it was our favorite. The staff was attentive, the services were exceptional, and the location was amazing. Situated on the first of 4 man made lagoons the beaches weren't crowded and we very very well maintained. The walking path along the lagoons made for an easy... More
