What a fantastic resort!!! This Disney property is expensive- but worth every penny!!! The grounds are gorgeous with many pools & spas. The rooms are equipped with microwaves & refrigerators. We had free transportation from Honolulu Airport to the resort- arranged by Aulani Resort. The activities are endless for Keiki's (children). The beach @ Aulani is protected & beautiful. The... I know everyone is giving a 5 stars review to this hotel, there're some really good things about the place, I really wish to love it more, but I have been pretty disappointed with many things. Let's start with the cons: 1) If you didn't make a reservation at hotel restaurant days/week ago, most likely you won't find a place... More

Staff generally quite nice, property quite nice and we appreciate they at least made some attempt to honor native Hawaiian culture through the design. Yes, its disney so they gouge you on extras and its a bit cheesy at times; but super fun for kids in the pool area. However...EVERY MORNING AT 7AM THEY BLARE MUSIC AS A WAKEUP CALL... More

We recently stayed 8 days in a one-bedroom villa at Aulani. The specific dates of our stay were 6 April - 14 April. We are DVC members w/ 300 points annually, and Aulani is our home resort. I will do my very best to give an objective review of the property, despite being a DVC member. On this trip, we... More

I came to the Aulani on a family vacation with my 5-year old daughter. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite. There are both positives and negatives to this resort, but your experience there really depends on what you want out of a Hawaiian vacation. The Aulani didn't meet my expectations. First the good - like most Disney properties, the customer... More

I just came home from my first trip to Aulani with my family (4 of us), having stayed from 4/8-4/14. My parents are DVC members so we used our points, and stayed in a deluxe studio villa. PROS: The rooms were gorgeous. The bathrooms had sliding doors to the toilet room and shower room, rain fall shower head in addition... More

Once again, we are not disappointed by Disney resorts. You really cant go wrong in Hawaii, but there are a few thingsa bout this Dis resort we were especially impressed with. The Rainbow Reef, although too artifical for diving purists, is perfect for young ones or those scared of jellies and sharks! The water is cold, but beautiful fish await... More

Spent April 6th thru the 12th at the Aulani with my wife and 7 year old daughter. I don't travel much, but I know what a good value is and I have experienced what I would call luxury in the past. Overall, I'd give Aulani a 2 and 1/2 rating. I really can't figure out what "Disney Service" is nor... More

We visited over Spring Break April 2015 as a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids). The hotel was at 100% capacity most days. Even so there was plenty of room in the pools, lazy river, and beach. Now one thing I will never understand is the families that "save" pool chairs for every member of their family. There is... More

This is a great hotel for kids, and kids only, unless you love Disney and lines. Very stressful since we had to fight for chairs by the pool every morning and they only allow you to be away from your chair for no more than 90 minutes at a time. Lines for water slides are long, usually around a 15... More
