We needed some rest and relaxation. Paradise Bay was perfect for us. Low key and the friendliest staff you would ever want to meet. The kayaking was great and the snorkeling/sandbar excursion was the best fun... sea turtles - even a seahorse (rare). The accommodations were very nice and a balcony to relax on was great. It's a great launch... More

Our recent stay was in a Lakeside two bedroom villa (rooms 29 and 28). Ideal for two couples as the villa has inter-connecting doors, providing a combination of both privacy as well as social interaction. The highlight was the view from the balcony of villa 29 (overlooking the lake.) We had a couple of hiccups with the pool being closed whilst... More

Aloha David, Thank you for sharing your comments with us. First, let me apologize for the pool being closed temporarily. We did not want anyone to get hurt while we were working on the pool fence, so we had to close it for a few days. As for the kitchen closing early, this is the first time I have heard... More

We were looking for a hotel for a few nights in Kaneohe because we have friends there that we wanted to see. Apparently there is not much to chose from. It is not on a beach, but a lagoon. It has 2 floating docks with lounge chairs that have a good breeze in the afternoon. We found Paradise Bay on... More

My family and I had the opportunity to have a extend stay here, during our move from Alaska. The resort is away from crowds and cookie cutter tourist experience that allot of people get in Waikiki. The resort sits in a quite neighborhood on the beautiful lush side of the Windward side of the island. The views your get from... More

Quaint place on the windward side but definitely does not fit the definition of a resort. Nice views and clean place but more like staying in a cabin in the mountains. I stayed in a king suite and was highly disappointed that my son could not stay with me - no pull out couch as is common in suites in... More

Aloha, Thank you for taking time to share your comments with us. Mahalo for sharing your thoughts on the lack of a pull out bed and the air conditioner. We are in the very beginning stages of choosing new furniture for the rooms and a pull out bed is something we will consider. Also, we will be replacing the smaller... More

My stay started after spending a hour to find the place it's like driving in a bad neighborhood than right in the middle is this little hotel.... More

Aloha , Thank you for taking time to share your comments. We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us. We try to offer a true Hawaiian experience, with lush greenery and bay views, it may not be for everyone, especially those who are looking for the typical "Waikiki" staycation. SUP boards, kayaks, yoga, massages, pool,... More

Our visit at PBR (ha!) was peaceful and pleasant-nice staff, cute property once you pass through the residential neighborhood. A car is a must, as there is limited entertainment and food at the "resort". Breakfast only-pretty much the same thing every day, but in a lovely, open air room. We kayaked and snorkeled and did one night of dinner/entertainment with... More

Aloha Merin, Mahalo for sharing your experience with us. We are glad to see you took full advantage of all we have to offer here at the resort. Thank you for the suggestion about having another mirror in the room. We will share this with our owners. Thank you again and have a wonderful day! With Warmest Aloha, Earl More

I had a discount since I was living on island and booked 5+ rooms due to a family event. Service was great, the free ride to the sand bar and the kayak rentals were a nice touch. Good views of Chinaman's hat. Not much of a beach but the beaches in Kailua and Bellows aren't that far away. Certainly recommend... More

Paradise Bay Resort is a misleading name. This is not what i would call a resort. We had a beautiful view of the bay, but there is no beach...just a very small pool and whirlpool that seats two. Our room was a good size, but the walls are made of paper...you could hear every neighboring room.Overhead light and fan didn't... More

We had a mountain view suite with kitchenette. Positive points: it is in a quiet location, it is close to Lanikai Beach, excellent view of the mountain and trees, we like the hard wood floors, clean kitchenette, good breakfast available every morning, free parking. Overall, a calm laid back place. Some minor problems: the coffee was cold during breakfast one... More
