Paradise Bay Resort is a pleasant place, and they are trying. But you should know what you are getting. This is a small rural hotel on the windward (green, rainy) coast of Oahu with clean rooms and breakfast. It is in a residential neighborhood on a spit of land, along an inlet a bit north of He'eia, several minutes' drive... More

We recently spent 2 nights at the Paradise Bay Resort. I knew nothing about the property, leaving the booking to my partner. I had no idea what to expect. After the slow slog from Waikiki (traffic) we headed down the residential street to the hotel. At first I was not sure we were in the right place. We easily found... More

We brought clients here, specifically because of the photos of the grounds, as well as its vicinity to the Kualoa Ranch. We were a bit disappointed when we drove into the neighborhood and found that it was not actually on the beach, but hovered over an inlet instead. It was still pretty, but not what we or our client had... More

Aloha, Mahalo for sharing your experience with us. Glad to hear you enjoyed your overall experience with us. Like all tropical islands, we have our share of bugs, but we do take preventive measures by doing monthly pest control treatments. We look forward to hosting you again on your return trip to our beautiful island. With Warmest Aloha, Earl More

Spent two weeks here, just after Thanksgiving and prior to Christmas. Had 13 hours of flying and 18 hours of travel so were dog tired on arrival, and Jamie, behind the desk, couldn't possibly have made check-in easier, especially since we were in a cold sweat panic, over losing a wallet, found, thank heavens wedged between the door and seat... Upon check in, we happened to double check that our room was pet free as we have allergies and our room was not pet free and we were not informed of this upon booking. Fortunately, there was one more pet free cottage available and the manager had it set up for us in minutes and handled it so professionally. The... More

We had a pleasant couple of nights at Paradise Bay. Beautiful location on the edge of the bay with spectacular views of the surrounding mountain ranges. It is about a 4 mile drive into the town center of Kaneohe where there are plenty of eating and shopping options. Our 1 bedroom apartment was a bit on the small side but... More

Hard to find, not close from Waikiki, but worth it (only if you have a car!). On the resort, you can use kayaks for free, or also take a yoga class, also for free! The ambiance is great and the room we had (two bedrooms suite) was great. A crew of cats, a cute dog, plenty of chickens and 3-4... More

First of all don’t call yourself Paradise Bay Resort. The location is terrible (see pictures)! We arrived in the evening and it’s quit hard to find. From the highway you end up on a run-down residential street. Looked like the ghetto of O’Hahu. The resort sits on a converted residential lot. Very far from what you would expect from a... More

Aloha Principe_Pat, Thank you for sharing your comments and photos with us. I am sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations. The views of the Ko'olau Mountains and Kaneohe Bay are one of the best on the island, sorry you did not enjoy them. Not sure what proper coffee is, but we had many compliments on our freshly...
