We stayed at the cottages and I am torn because while the place itself is pretty basic the spot is amazing right on secret beach, super cheap at $125 a night, however we had helicopters flying so low it rattled the whole place every 15-30 min from 10-10 at night ruined any sense of calm and with a toddler and... We stayed here for a week and did NOT want to leave! The cottage itself is great but the staff and service was just as wonderful. Lani at the front desk is a sweetheart and Julie our housekeeper was the best! We had a wonderful vacation!

The Lodge at Kaneohe Bay is located on Marine Corps Base Hawaii on the Mokapu Peninsula just east of the city of Kaneohe Bay on Oahu. The best surprise, and best bargain are the Cabanas located on Hale Koa Beach. These are old one story barracks which look rough on the exterior but have been renovated inside with new furniture,... We were definitely surprised by how nice the Lodge was. The breakfast was awesome and was open early. Ate it outside to enjoy the beautiful sunrise. The rooms were spacious. Nice little kitchen included. It's always smart to keep the sink and mirror separate from the tub/shower and toilet when a family is sharing a bathroom. It's modern and on... More

We just got here after staying in godforsaken Waikiki for 15 days. The Klipper Villas - 2 Bedroom, 2 bath suites are AWESOME. Super spacious, super clean, beautiful updated decor! Full kitchen and and washer/dryer in the unit. Parking is right outside your door. This place was well within our perdiem and TLA--if you are on orders to come to... More

I stayed here recently while on TDY. The staff was really nice and accommodations were nice. The best part of the stay was the full breakfast every morning. They had a hot breakfast that they varied every day with items such as breakfast burritos, French toast and a breakfast scramble.

We stayed at Klipper Villas. We were in Villa 2558D. Our Villa looked to be renovated while others next door and nearby did not appear so. Ours was like a condo. 2 bedrooms, kitchen and 2 bath, livingroom/ dining room. Each room had individual air conditioning. Our Villa had a view of the miniature golf place next door and the regular... We flew space A into Kaneohe and booked via cell phone as we boarded the plane, Ditto to all the positive reviews. The really good thing is that it is usually available without reservations. If Hickam or the Hale Koa is booked, try the Lodge at Kaneohe. Taxi from Waikiki is $60. You can rent a car on the Marine... More

We stayed 2 nights recently at the Kaneohe Bay Marine Lodge and it was a great experience! I wish we had know about it sooner so we could have booked more nights. You have to be affiliated with the military in some way to stay there. We had a room with 2 queen beds and the room was very clean,... More

The lodge room, for a $132 a night military hotel, on a Marine Corps base was horribly dirty and had not been deep cleaned in a long time. It was so bad, I had to take pictures to show to the staff, who abruptly apologized. Apologies aside, the dirtiness of the room didn't happen overnight. I recommend a full inspection... More
