A nice clean, comfy room, overlooking the lovely garden and pool. Jeannette and Bob were friendly hosts (Elsa, the cat took a little longer). A simple DIY breakfast of cereal, toast & tea is provided and there is a fridge and a microwave for guest use by the main house. A lovely lanai to sit and eat or just relax.... More

We spent 5 nights at "P.P." You simply cannot beat the price. It's a simple, quiet, clean and relaxing place. Bob & Jennette are very accomadating. It was a great location on a beautiful part of the island and it was nice to be away from Waikiki! Catch a sunrise at Kailua Beach, less than 2 mins away and be... More

We spent our first seven nights in croweded and noisy Wakiki. Staying with Bob and Jeanette for the last three nights was a pleasant change. We are so glad we had a chance to experience another town and another way of Hawaiian life. It was wonderful to be able to stay in an authentic Hawaiian home with a pool and... More

We stayed at Bob and Jeanette's place for three nights and had a wonderful time. They are wonderful hosts, the rooms was great, and the location was less than a mile from the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying with them at their place. The price was very reasonable and the room very comfortable.

I spoke with Jeanette and reserved a room for my young child and I. She was very casual and said a check in the mail for a $200 deposit would be fine. Our conversation was very pleasant and I was very excited to be staying there. I offered to pay with a credit card right away, but I was told... More

Aloha, The original request for accommodations was made on 12 January. When required deposit that confirms the reservation was not received by 22 January, I contacted the guest and was told the deposit was mailed 5 days earlier. When deposit was not received by 23 January, I opened the dates for other guests. On the 25th of January, the deposit... More

Jeanette & Bob are a truly nice old couple, but their cat Elsa is a bit on the shy side. Their clean home with a big lanai and pool is a 15 min walk to either the town or the beach, and somewhat in the middle of nowhere. There are two rooms for rent. Emphasis on arrival is on do-nots,... More

I noticed there are reviews that give quite a different perspective of Papaya Paradise. It is because the owners Bob and Jeanette are senior people and in this way they have prepared their B&B for people who want peace and quiet. I am specifically looking for a place for peace and quiet and got exactly what I am looking for.... More
