We stayed in the Kailua Beach Estate with hosts Bob and Karen. Everything was coordinated through Rick Maxey and he was more than helpful and accommodating with great directions from the airport, easy of payment(we used a personal check for the bulk of payment), and the location/apartment was exactly as described! We had fresh muffins waiting for us when we... More

This was our first visit to Hawaii, we did some inslandhopping, the garden studio in Kailua was our first place to stay. We found this place in the internet and instantly liked it. Payment and contract was easy to deal. We arrived late, which was no problem at all (after a 20-30 minute ride from the airport) and had a... More

I grew up in Lanikai almost across the street from this property so I know what a perfect paradise this spot is. When I discovered you could actually rent a vacation property here I thought it was too good to be true. I was not at all disappointed. My husband and I have stayed several times in both the Tree... I came to Hawaii to be with family and friends. I rented the "Tree House" suite - and it was the BEST rental ever ! Truly set up in the huge tree the suite was a beautiful 2 bedroom suite - 2 large beautifully decorated bedrooms - one with a queen size bed, the other with a king size and... More

Thge treehouse is well situated on a somewhat secluded beautiful part of the bay. CLose proximity to town and some great restaurants. You will feel like a local and the neighborhood is primarily year around residents. No black socks wearing tourists anywhere near the tree house. Great hiking on the hills behind the house as well. Everything was there that... More

Every couple of months I need a Hawaii fix...so happy to have "the treehouse" as an option. Rick and Nini are welcoming and have paid attention to every detail that enhances a true getaway. We did not have to worry about beach chairs, towels or umbrellas....it's all there! The property is well maintained and charming. I hope to return in... More

The Lanikai Beach Treehouse is a magical place to enjoy a fabulous beach vacation. The Treehouse is absolutely perfect. It is artistically fully furnished to feel more like a perfect home than a hotel room. It is lovely to sit in, rain or shine, and everything you need for living and for the beach is beautifully provided. Rick and Nini... More

Sure Waikiki is nice...just to say you went there and to see what all the fuss is about. But if you want a real Hawaiian vacation and just want to relax on a beautiful almost secluded beach away from all the frantic tourists, stay with Rick and Nini in their Garden Studio. Everything is provided for you from nice beach... More

My daughter and I stayed here on her spring break from school. It was very clean and had everything you needed. Great location. The owners were very nice and helpful. I would recommend this property for anyone who likes going to the beach and enjoying the patio for morning coffe. Very quiet that's what we wanted.
