We were only able to stay 3 nights this time but I know we'll be back! This is a completely equipped roomy studio apartment within walking distance of a gorgeous beach! There was an onsite laundry facility, outdoor shower for washing sand off when returning from the beach, beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella available. The studio was maintained... More

The Kailua Guesthouse was clean and comfortable. We liked the 2nd floor location where we caught the refreshing breeze while enjoying morning coffee. (My first post on Facebook was the view from the lanai.) Parking is no problem as a spot is reserved on the property. Kailua town has everything you need - stores, restaurants, and a beautiful beach. We... More

The Kailua Guesthouse was exactly what we wanted: a completely equipped studio apartment within walking distance of Kailua beach (a very pleasant 10 minute walk, so it felt shorter). There were also towels, a beach umbrella and beach chairs available for us to borrow. The studio was maintained very nicely and we had plenty of privacy, although Will was just... More

We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed every single one. I forget which room we stayed in, but it had every convenience we needed. Kailua is THE place to stay (we never even went to honolulu), and this rental has a fabulous location. A very short walk to the beach and even shorter to a small marketplace or downtown kailua.... 5 days of total relaxation, no luxuries but you have everything you need in the suite and outside: showers, towels, washer, dryer, cleaning supplies, umbrellas, etc. The Property is clean and peaceful. Kailua is mainly residential so you have a beautiful beach at a 10-min walk from the property with all the services, no crowds, nice people, little cute stores,... More

Thank you! We stayed in the Kailua Guesthouse with our two small children and loved it! Clean, quiet and comfortable. Everything we needed they had. It was a great time. I would surely stay again! Thank you Will!

We stayed in the Beach Bungalow on the Kailua Guesthouse property. When first pulling into the driveway, it looked a little plain, and maybe in need of a spruce-up, but our suite was excellent. Beach Bungalow was as advertised, with plenty of space in the bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom. All items were clean and in working order. We also had... More

this was our 4th trip to hawaii but the first time in Kailua. The Kailua guesthouse is located close to the beach and the town center - you could walk to both but would say 15-20 minutes. like many of the other places we've stayed in Hawaii (besides waikiki hotels) things are a bit dated but nothing was in overly... We were in Lahaina for a wedding and vacation so looked on internet for decent priced place for 4 days. Initially looking for B&Bs but found this at a decent price. It's like a condo rental but with owner onsite. Only two rentals at this location. If you use Google streetview, it's the yellow house and the rentals are the... More

I had never travelled to Hi before when I lucked on the Internet and found this place- the one review that I just read said something negative about the beds being okay and the bedding needing to be trashed! I never thought this and I travelled to Hi eight (8) times and all times I stayed at Kailua Guesthouse. Take... More
