My wife and I stayed in the simple, well appointed and roomy Pineapple Room. The longer we stayed, the more we noticed the tasteful attention to detail and care of the interior as well as the very well maintained yet natural yard with a pool, where we spent a lot of time. During our stay, we felt like we had... More

The owner, Allison, has converted this house into several rental units. It is in a great location..... minutes to walk to Kailua beach and an easy drive or walk to downtown. It is located on a quiet street in a subdivision. Our room was very comfortable and we had a large bathroom. The private patio, with furniture, was a nice... More

The Hula Breeze is the perfect, tranquil resting spot at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. The room is attractive and comfortable, with everything you might need for your stay. Named appropriately, the trade winds provide a cooling cross breeze, making sleeping pleasant. The pool and garden area is beautiful, and the hostess, Allison, is very friendly. It... More

We always try and stay in small inns/B&B's when we travel - this one ranks up there among the best. The best decision was to avoid Waikiki and stay here - unspoiled, quiet, far nicer than the "other" side of the island but still 30 minutes from everything. We had the pineapple suite - perfect as our 12-year-old was with... More

We visited the Hula Breeze for the second time because we just fell in love with it. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated and have lots of space. The kitchenette is well equipped and offer everything you need to prepare fast and simple meals. The bed is very comfortable and instead of a noisy air conditioner you can enjoy the... More

My sister and I stayed here for a week. We had a great time! Allison is a wonderful host! The room was clean and had everything we needed. Each morning, we walked to the local coffee shop on our way to the beach. It is about a 5 minute walk through a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. We also went in to... More

My husband and I only stayed here one night due to other arrangements, but I wish it would have been longer. The location was great - not a far walk to the beach, restaurants, and night life. A peaceful residential neighborhood in a home with a nice pool and even nicer owner. If I am ever on the island again,... More

Located a few short blocks from the beach, the Hula Breeze was the perfect tucked away spot in a quiet Kailua neighborhood. We felt like residents walking to and from the beach with all the neighbors saying hello and making us feel welcome. The Pineapple Room was cheery, clean and well-appointed. Everything we needed was right at hand. The gardens... More

This was my husband's first time to Hawaii and we thoroughly enjoyed the quaint and nicely appointed features the Mango Suite provided. The Mango has a microwave, coffeepot & microwave, but this was all we needed. The bed was plenty roomy for us, and we enjoyed the private lanai when we weren't walking the beach, exploring the town, or sightseeing.... More

We spent the first part of our Hawaiian vacation in Waikiki because of its close proximity to the university. We're not much into the "resort" kind of vacation but rather the quiet, tranquility offered by this wonderful property. We couldn't wait to get away from the crowds to this beautiful and friendly town of Kailua! It's incredible. We were welcomed... More
