The Turtle Bay Resort is on a beautiful piece of land where the North Shore meets the Windward Coast, about an hour from the HNL airport. This place is a WORLD away from the hustle of Waikiki. The area is rural and quaint, with great roadside stands and fantastic beaches. The amenities - spa, golf, tennis, horseback riding, beach, pool,... more

I will admit after reading some of the negative reviews I was getting a little nervous about staying there, however from the moment we arrived at the hotel till the day we left it was a great experience. The room was nice and the view was amazing. Our breakfast buffet for 4 was included and was a great way to... more

After a night in Oahu on Waikiki, we decided to get away from the hustle and bustle. We went online and searched out properties on the North Shore, and came upon Turtle Bay. A quick call and we were able to get a 3-bedroom villa within 50 feet of the ocean, for less than 2 rooms were costing us on... more

Stayed 4 nights first week of Aug. 2008. Made reservation directly with hotel and prepaid room in full. When I arrived at 5:00 p.m. the evening of my reservation, I was told all rooms with 2 beds were gone and that my prepaid room had been given away. Management offered a "downgrade" to a king with my child sleeping on... more

We stayed there July 13 - 16, 2008. There is only one word to describe Turle Bay Resort and that is "Paradise"! Even for me in a wheelchair everything - room, lobby, gardens and pool - was accessible (and you cannot take that for granted in all hotels). My teenage daughter had fun learning to surf and my husband enjoyed... more

Great place, simply breath taking. Stayed in July for 8 days for our weddingmoon, got a great deal on travelocity and could not pass it up. It was still expensive for us but we wanted to splurge, and we were so glad we did! We felt like royalty. The room is awesome! Wish it had a microwave and its own... more

Throughout our stay the staff were courteous and friendly. The room was very comfortable with a fantastic view over the bay and surf beaches. The six restraunts provided variety at reasonable prices. Plenty of resort activities including golf, helicopter rides, tennis, walking trails, horse riding, surfing and swimming. more

We stayed at Turtle Bay for 4 days in December. It is a bit outdated and could use a renovation (outside had paint peeling, the rooms had old bedspreads and furniture), but our room had a nice balcony and we could hear the waves crashing at night which was nice. It was bit expensive for it being outdated, but I... more

We spent 4 nights in Oahu and 3 nights at Turtle Bay. The hotel pool is the best part. It is wonderful, we spent most of our time there while we were at the hotel. The breakfast is good, but expensive. We ate at one of the restaurant there, it was good but again expensive and they forgot to accomodate... more

Upon arrival my husband and I were very disappointed. Hundreds of school aged children were staying which made the hotel more like summer camp than a luxury resort. We even considered checking out the next day but luckily the group was at the end of their stay. Our room looked tied and in need of updating, however it was large... more
