Let's start with the Draconian rental agreement which basically states that you pay the rental company 100% of the rental fee 60 days in advance. In the unfortunate event where you have to cancel your trip, the rental company keeps all of that rental fee and to add insult to injury, they tack on an additional $300 cancellation fee. No... They say you either love or hate Molokai! Well I hate it, the condo was nice enough but the grounds are rundown, the cost of groceries was astronomical. A couple of restaurants in town that are good, but it is about a 20 minute drive. They say it is a golf community but the golf course has been shut down... More

We were very happy with condo we rented at Ke Nani Kai in Maunaloa (unfortunately, this particular unit does not appear to be available to rent anymore, so this is a review of the property only). The pool was large enough to accommodate all guests. The hot tub was a nice size as well. The location is nice - away... More

I recently stayed at Ke Nani Kai, and found the property and management to be excellent. I appreciated that the site manager took control of the 20 somethings that wanted to do cannon balls into the pool. This is not a party ship, the cliental here are older and more relaxed. I appreciated the hard working and dedicated personal that... More

The condo we stayed in was a studio condo, number 121, which was nicely decorated and fully furnished. It is privately owned, so the way we found this place was through VRBO.com. Terrisiana is the owner of this condo took extreme care to furnish it with quality furniture and amenities. This place was thoroughly cleaned and well maintained. I recommend... More

Ke Nani Kai is 30 minutes away from any restaurants, gas or groceries, driving across a very "Outback" countryside with deer, turkeys and francolins along the highway. The condos are maintained beautifully and Story Teller is the perfect hostess. It's a bit shocking at first when you head to the beach as you go through the neighboring resort and it... More

The resort itself is well tended with a lovely pool and pretty grounds--plumerias, pine trees, banana trees--but don't be surprised by the resort nextdoor, which has basically been abandoned and is being reclaimed by nature (climbing vines on the walls, rotting stairs, etc., actually sort of fascinating!) If you can overlook the abandoned buildings and appreciate the beautiful landscape, you'll... More

We stayed at Rose condo because she seemed to portray a person who would help us with our first experience and she came through in spades !!! Her web page is so helpful in our first Molokai experience . The condo itself is immaculate and well appointed. You immediately feel at home upon arrival and certainly feel sad on your... More
