Tom and Karyl truly make you feel at home. Very welcoming and informative. His breakfast is SCRUMPTIOUS!! The price is right! Our bathroom and shower were not attached to the room, so we dawned robes (provided) to go back and forth to the shower. Modern Hawaiian setting with a large lanai, where we had our incredible breakfast. Tom and Karyl... More

We read the reviews before we decided to stay... and it was as wonderful as everyone says. Tom and Karyl are jewels! We arrived early due to catching an earlier flight, and were greeted and treated to a thorough explanation of everything to do and see with maps and books provided...along with lovely tea. The morning fruit plate, with eight... More

My friend and I spent a week with Karyl and Tom at this wonderful B&B. Although it is on an isolated island--in an isolated town, it was worth every penny just to get away from the world for a week. Molokai has some interesting spots to visit like Kualapapa and gorgeous deserted beaches on the West end of the island.... More

We enjoyed our week long stay with Tom and Karyl immensely. The Komohana B&B went well beyond what others provided in my long travel experience. Extras included use of the kitchen and dishes for other meals, use of microwave and fridge, provision of mats, beach towels and chairs, loaning of books, videos and maps, use of the home phone, extra treats... So many comments are already here that there is little more to add except to counter one previous negative comment. Tom and Karyl are great hosts. They produce amazing plates of tropical fruit at breakfast, which on a fair weather day is served on the lanai with a great view of the far-away coast. They will serve early if you... More

We were on 3 different islands during our visit, but I have to admit the stay at the komohana was the best. Our hosts were extremely friendly. They fed us with sumptous breakfast everyday which was very healthy and delicious. We very often had to skip lunch because of the heavy breakfasts that were offered. Tom also gave us the... More

My wife and I stayed with Tom and Karyl right before Christmas. They made us feel at home and opened their home to us. The room was nice and clean, and they also provided us with bath towels, beach towels, beach mats, a fridge, a portable cooler, Ziploc bags for our food and anything else we needed. The breakfasts were... More

Karyl and Tom both have been very kind and welcoming to us during our stay! A nice and friendly conversation at the end of our daily sightseeing was guaranteed and with many advices from them on local sightseeings. Breakfasts, either fruit platters or baked oatmeal with lots of nuts and dried fruits were always a piece of art and were... More

I read in disbelief the last review of "Molokai Komohana". Surely this is not the same place we went to last November but the address and the name of the owners are the same. My Australian husband and I (from France originally) travel intensely throughout the US, Europe and South America. On our numerous travels we either stay in hotels... More

Let me preface this review by saying that this is not at all a reflection on the kindness of the hosts. Tom and Karyl, as previous reviews have stated, are very warm-hearted. Unfortunately, their accommodations leave a tremendous amount to be desired. Yes, there is a bed. And yes, there is breakfast. However, calling the accommodations a "bed and breakfast"... More
