NO WAY should you EVER consider staying in this crap hole of a dive. Seriously, this place is SCARY. I didn't expect the Sheraton or Four Seasons by any means, but this place was absolutely filthy. The room was dark, dingy, was crawling with ants everywhere, and that's just the half of it. This hostel is located in a dirty,... More

Hostel City Maui is an ideal spot for young people who just need a spot to sleep...It is definitely not recommended for a romantic getaway. Room was very small and the bath room was a little dirty... Bed was also small and sagged. This hostel provided some towels but no soap and shampoo. This hostel is very close to the... More

Would never normally stay in a hostel but we were very last minute in booking our trip so no hotels were left, and these were private rooms so thought it could'nt be too bad right. WRONG. We booked 2 nights here but managed to wriggle out of the second as soon as we arrived as i didn't like the look... More

Stayed here in the private room for one night with my husband. Bed was ok though it really sagged in the middle and the pillows were either completely flat or really lumpy. No hand soap in the bathroom and the wifi didn't reach all the way to our room. Would've liked to have a little more than a simple door... More

I was constantly accused of leaving dishes/messes around. I was threatened by a new guest for not responding to him as I read a book on vacation. I was evicted by management for, I kid you not, drinking ice water and eating candy while sitting on a concrete wall near the main entrance. The dust in the room was making... More

They were supposed to pick us up from the airport. They had us waiting for more than one hour and only came after repeated calls. We got a private "superior" room for more than $100- still the cheapest option in Maui at the time. There were 4 bunk beds in the room. Everything was dirty. We actually decided to use... More

Loved staying here. Free wi-fi, clean, quiet, and peaceful. Staff was very attentive and friendly without being overwhelming. You can also do laundry on site. Perfect after a day of surfing! I found the beds to be very comfortable and way nicer than most hostels I've slept in. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want a peaceful stay.... More
