I have had an amazing experience at this location from the amazing staff to the amazing people who you meet from all over the world! The affordable price compared to the quality makes me see that the intention for this service is from the heart! This is my second visit and I will be staying hear my next visit to... More

The manager was such a pompous egotistical jerk! He talked down to everyone and kept saying how he was in charge for 9 years and he made the place what it is today. He gave us a termite infested room with a slotted glass window that went into the main hallway. So all night I had a light in my... More

Dear Kristal We regret that you had a bad experience and felt the manager 'talked down to everyone'. He does his best to please everyone and is not always successful....certainly not from lack of effort, enthusiasm for his job or genuine concern....a few of the many reasons he has been here for nine years. After you complained about the room,... More

Stayed here for 1 night in a private room, as a substitute for the massively overpriced OGG airport hotel. The service was very good, the room was clean, the bathrooms better than expected and the price was right vs other accommodations on Maui. I would return again for a short stay and would recommend for those who don't mind shared... More

This hostel is great if you're more a daytime person and need somewhere clean, safe, and warm to sleep. There isn't much of a nightlife in that neighborhood, but if you have a car then you can just drive 20-30 min to the happening spots. There's a parking lot across the street so parking is easy. The staff were great... More

Wow. This place was great. Just stayed for 5 nights, did a solo tip to Maui. Did not know what to expect, had never stayed at a hostel. It was clean, comfortable, I met some really cool people and the manager Scott was super accommodating and hilarious. Nice hot showers, free wifi, filtered tap water, free parking, what more could... We had a great 2 week stay. Stayed as a couple in a private room then went to another room to the back of the building which was quieter. The mattresses are very comfortable. Janine that works there made an informative binder of activities and places to go. Met interesting and traveled people at the hostel. Very affordable considering the... More

I was very impressed by the care with which the staff at this hostel took towards their guests. The host was welcoming and warm, the facilities were well maintained, and the people that I met while staying there were all outgoing and well traveled. This was my first time staying at a hostel, so I went in with preconcieved notions... More

It was my first hostel experience. And I was very much pleasantly surprised. The staff were super friendly and down to earth, informative, and kind. The place was very clean and well kept. And I met so many really really nice people of all kinds of backgrounds. Plus it was so great to have a kitchen where I could cook,... More

I can't give a good review for this hostel because of my poor customer service experience with the two mangers here. I feel unsafe and disrespected during my time here because someone stole my food from the kitchen and the managers did nothing about it. I feel disrespected by the staff about the incident because it was not handled at... More

Dear Crystal We're truly sorry about your missing avocado... and your hurt feelings....but less so that you choose to write such a diatribe about it. Funny that you would continue to stay on here after this egregious incident if indeed you feel “unsafe and disrespected”. Indeed we're guilty.... we didn't review hours of recorded camera footage to find the culprit...we're... More
