We stayed here for the first half of our honeymoon a year ago (I know…I'm a little late with my review). The best decision that I made with this trip was to stay here. It is very private-quiet-serene, and perfect for a honeymoon get away, or any romantic get away really! We were greeted with a warm welcome, in-person, by... More

If you are looking for the true Maui experience, in a beautiful setting, this cottage is for you. We could see the sunrise right from our bed -- without even having to get up. The stars at night are amazing, especially from your private hot tub. It really is just beautiful, and the breeze keeps it quite cool so you... More

What sweeties! Sorry about no olive oil ... we usually have it there with our vinegar, salt & pepper ... fresh coffee beans to grind, creamer, sugar, basic spices, butter and jam patties ... usually some sweetbread of banana bread ... (and I personally choose to cook with butter - ooops!) ... my outside Weber is a traditional small one,... More

So to start...nothing we can say can describe the overall experience we had at this gorgeous site, cottage and with the people we met. This stay was booked as a vacation months ago. We wanted to be closer to Hana and on a little quieter and romantic side of the island. About a month before the trip we decided it... More

"Aloha" my dears - all of us had such fun at your wedding! It was truly a pleasure to meet two people who truly belong together. Your engraved coconut is still on my table, just waiting to jump into its envelope and fly to you. And, of course, you know where you'll have to come back to for your next... More

We stayed for one week at the Haleakala cottage and could not be happier with our stay! The cottage was so clean and organized we almost didn't want to disturb anything! All the little details made us feel so welcome and the property was gorgeous and welll-maintained. The outdoor shower and jacuzzi were fabulous. We felt so at home the... More

The cottage is in a very pretty, remote area. The property is well maintained and the owners are very attentive and nice. Don't expect breakfast though. We had eggs and fruit in the fridge for the first morning but nothing after that. All things considered, I'd say Huelo Point was very relaxing and pretty but is certainly a bit overpriced... More

This particular review is a bit of a mystery as we've had no one from Boston staying with us in March! The one couple we had from MA stayed 2 nights (I made a special exception to our 3 night minimum for them) - and had breakfast provided as I knew they were flying in late. They also had a... More

We stayed in the rainbow room and it was beyond amazing. Sharyn was so helpful and kind, she even offered to pick us up after our rental car broke down. Really, cannot say enough positive things about Huelo Point Lookout.

We spent 4 wonderful nights in February at Rainbow Lookout. By far my favorite thing was the fabulous outdoor shower and jacuzzi retreat right outside of our door. The weather was not the best for most of our stay so we were quite amazed one night to look up at the skylight one night and see stars and the moon!... More

Our stay at the Haleakala cottage exceeded our expectations! It was beautifully set up when we arrived with flowers, ready to eat fruit, and a chilled bottle of wine. The cottage is surrounded by large lush tropical plants so you feel like you are in your own paradise. We loved relaxing in our own two person hot tub after spending... More

We stayed in the the rainbow-room. Very romantic. We stayed here over New Years. We had our own hot tub and there was a window in the ceiling so we could watch the stars. The owners was very friendly and they left fresh fruits and chocolates for us. We cooked the food outside which was a nice experiance. The house... More

This is our first trip to Maui, and we are thrilled with the accommodations at Huelo Point Lookout. We were looking for something that would allow us easy access to the whole island with a quiet personal atmosphere. The Rainbow Cottage is beautiful with so much privacy and beautifully done. We can listen to a waterfall on our lanai and... More
