This is the second time I have brought my hiking group here. It is a small, very clean place tucked in a side street in Paia. You can walk to shops, a grocery store and our favorite restaurant, Paia Fishmarket plus many other restaurants. It is a short walk to the beach. Maria was on maternity leave so Liam hosted... More

My husband and I had a last minute snafu with our accommodations in maui, and as a result were facing sleeping in our rental car. nalu kai lodge was able to accommodate us when we were in a pinch! the room was cozy, clean and very reasonably priced. hotel owner gave us great tips of places to go eat within... I rented a lovely little room on the 2nd floor. It was well appointed with an en-suite bathroom with shower, also you are literally 35 seconds from the high street yet still tucked away under palm trees for it to be quiet when you get back to your room - staff are pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

Stayed for our honeymoon, wouldn't have wanted anything more! Cozy, clean place to rest. Has a little deck with table and chairs. Located in the heart of downtown Paia lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, the beaches (based on my standards) were not. The lodge sits off the street and is very private! If your looking for a... More

Compared to other places to stay in the area, this place was reasonably priced, cozy, clean and in the center of Paia. Walking distance to shopping, beach, restaurants, bars, etc. Close to airport as well, about 15 minute drive. Our room AC wasn't working the first night, we let the owner know and though he couldn't get it fixed the... More

I came here to the north side for the spiritual proximity to practitioners and therapies and the finest sorts of activities and concerts. There are no big hotels here. Surfers musicians and a sweet village close to the airport and downtown Kahului. The Lodge is old school. Bed and shower, for the amazing beach is a short walk, a n... More

We stayed here for a week, actually leaving tomorrow. All of the staff has been helpful, and our giant group wasn't easy. I'm sure we have been a housekeeping nightmare.... 2 small children & 12 adults for the second week after one of the group got married. The rooms are very small, but work well for 2 people. We asked... More

I had a really relaxing and enjoyable stay here a couple weeks ago. Location could not have been better. Centre of Paia, walking distance to everything. Grocery store, shops, restaurants are pretty much all right outside your door. Paia bay beach is a 2 minute walk and fun for boogie boarding or walk another easy 10-15 minutes to Baldwin Beach... Room was clean comfortable & spacious. We booked last minute over the phone for one night & staff were very helpful & explained all that we needed to know. On arrival you simply find your room which is a refreshing change. Fantastic location - close to all the shops & restaurants. Some may not like that there is a curtain... More

We stayed in room number 4, a quite small room but enough for 2 people. Queensize bed and own bathroom. Refridgerator in room. Great location in town, short walk to the beach. Parking right outside at no extra cost. Cosy place in a cosy town!
