We stayed 5 nights at the end of November, and enjoyed the peace and quiet very much. Breakfast was lovely and convenient, especially since we were doing the 8AM yoga classes. We loved the fresh fruit and especially the delicious muffins. Matt, the guy in charge of breakfast is very caring and helpful. It is also comforting to be able... More

My fiancé & I booked the Lumeria by accident because there weren't many other hotel accommodations available during our stay on Maui. It was the best mistake we could have made. There are only 34 rooms, which makes it very intimate, quiet, and away from the hustle and bustle of normal large hotels. The Lumeria is a boutique hotel that... More

love this place. Very tranquil, beautiful and spiritual. The grounds, the people and the food all cater to a blissful experience. I love the huge crystals everywhere. And I think the soft music is exactly the way to quiet the mind and is so conducive to slowing down and being still. I had the dinner last night and chef Ben... More

Lumeria is a boutique hotel on a small property that caters well to those interested in yoga, meditation, tranquility, and who have minimal needs when they travel. For those looking for a family destination, full service amenities, commercial proximity, and a higher level of luxury, you should look elsewhere. The property is a restored plantation housing with beautiful gardens, is... More

I am a chiropractor and have had many massages in my life, and Vicki gave me a massage using an oriental technique that involved using her feet... Hands down the best massage I have ever had! Perfect combination of deep massage without the pokey-ness. My wife and mother also received a massage from another therapist... They loved it! Money well... More

A rarity in Hawaii -- a high end yet boutique resort come yoga retreat. Only 14 rooms, in several acres of stunningly landscaped gardens -- including a "walking meditation labyrinth", a whispering wood equipped with hammocks, and a beautiful pool + hot tub; very experienced spa and yoga practitioners and stunning detail in the furnishing, architecture and design of the... This is my second stay and yes, the landscaping is beautiful, with reflective areas to sit and be still, meditate or simply explore. The crystals, labyrinth, Buddha, and lay out all encourage and support the guest to relax. Apart from the 'music' which begins around 8am and continues for what seems all day long. I returned to my accommodation after... More

We just had an amazing time at Lumeria - shooting for a fashion catalogue - this location not only is so beautiful and versatile - the staff has been great and whats even better the meals were delicious. It almost didn't feel like working - the moment you step onto these grounds you feel relaxed. All our crew member felt... More

Our main motivation for choosing Lumeria was location. We picked this place as a starting point for Hana Road trip after visiting Haleakala and it was a good choice. + The whole retreat is really beautiful. It is subjective thing, but I mean it. It was the most beautiful place out of 10 we stayed during our 3 weeks long... More

We had a 4 night family reunion at Lumeria over Thanksgiving 2014. We booked the entire Inn and our 15 adults and 9 children had a marvelous time. The rooms were lovely and comfortable...and clean! We set up a self serve bar adjacent to the great room and the little ones ate while we had cocktails around the fire pits.... More
