Our friends let us use a get away week and they highly recommended SOK. We can certainly see why. We were staying only 5 of our 7 day reservation and because of our dates, we were upgraded to an ocean front suit. Amazing , especially during New Years. The 2 bedroom suites are GINORMOUS! The master bedroom was heaven. Wall... More

Thank you for visiting Sands of Kahana. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay. It was our pleasure to upgrade you to an oceanfront suite. We want you to enjoy the view as much as we do. Our spacious two-bedroom unit is 1,500 square feet, sleeps six and comes with a full kitchen and other conveniences. Thank you once again for... More

We stayed here Dec. 10 - 17/11. and arrived here earlier than the stated check-in time.. (The welcoming Koi pond and Koi within it are spectacular! ) Nevertheless, Front desk staff let us see our room even though housekeeping was not quite finished cleaning, and then phoned us a short time later (we simply went for lunch at the restaurant)... We had a 3 bedroom condo for the 4 of us. Huge. Clean and spacious with a nice view of the ocean for whale watching. No A/C so just open the patio doors and let the trade winds keep you cool. No a big problem in December. More

Good price, Large rooms. Our room was a little outdated. The shower was broken in one of the rooms. The staff maintains the grounds well and the grill areas are great. The pool area is not large enough and the kids pool was awesome but was in the shade for the second half of the day. The beach was great.... More

My husband and I have been owners at SOK for about 13 years and this was the FIRST time we have actually stayed here. We’ve traded through Interval in the past, but finally had the chance (and airline miles) to come back to Maui with our kids. We were very pleased to see how well-maintained the resort is. We stayed... More

I read all the reviews before we visited and most of the comments I agreed with; you have to decide what matters to you. First the good things: Location is good. Close to beaches, stores, shopping. Clean. The entire complex is pretty much spotless. There are grills available in the pool area and they are meticulous. Pool, hot tub, poolside... More

Thank you for visiting the Sands of Kahana. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your complimentary remarks. Our two-bedroom suite is, as you put it, HUGE! It is 1,500-square feet, sleeps six and contains a full kitchen. It is fully stocked with everything you need for a great stay and comfortably cooled by our “natural” air conditioning.... More

My parents have had ownership at this time share resort for several years, and we've been several times. It does not provide a lot of the amenities that major resorts may offer, but it is a nice place to relax and have a "home away from home" during your stay in Maui. There is a small sized pool, and it... More

I have been to the Sands of Kahana NUMEROUS times throughout the years. The grounds are beautiful, the restaurant/bar area is a kick to hangout in during the evenings that they have a live band, and the staff is always super friendly. Everybody from the maids, front desk staff, restaurant staff and even the gardeners always smile and nod and... More

As others have mentioned, the rooms at Kahana are HUGE. We stayed in a 2 bed, 2 bath unit over Thanksgiving week with a partial ocean view. We were a party of 4 but the unit could have easily accommodated 6 adults and 2 people on the pull out. The living room and dining area was gigantic and comfortable with... More

We stayed in Unit 255 for 2 weeks (wish it was longer!) There were 5 of us in a 2 bdrm, 2 bath condo with full, well stocked kitchen. We has insuite laundry and lots of living space. BBQed dinner every night with the high quality bbqs available in the gardens. Kids swam for hours a day in the pool... More
