We just returned from a week at Sands of Kahana and throughly enjoyed it. While there was no A/C we slept with windows opens and enjoyed the breeze. Some days it was a little noisy but we were so tired from our days activities than it did not bother us. The unit we had was very clean and large, we... more

It was an oversight on my part that I didn't notice the fine print on my Interval exchange saying this place has no a/c. Besides the lack of cool air, the place (furniture and my clothes) were always damp and clammy,... more

Ok, it's been 3 yrs since I last stayed at SOK, but I have been coming here with my parents practically every summer for as long as I remember (I think we started in1984 - if you stay in #336, you may see some of my guestbook entries, haha). I saw some negative reviews and I had to counter them... more

Go Habs GO. My wife and I, along with my brother and his wife exchanged our Mexican timeshare for the SOK. Our Sandos Resort timeshare is heads and tails better than the SOK, but it's not HAWAII. If you want a nice beach area, this is not the place. You definately have to drive to get to nicer beaches. The... more

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at the Sands of Kahana with our two kids. The condos were wonderful! We stayed in unit #344 which is in tower 3, floor 4. Towers 2 and 3 are ocean front the other two towers sit behind further back from the ocean. Each tower has 9 floors. Tower number 3... more

We bought into SOK as a timeshare property in 96/97. We have been coming every other year for two weeks...which made this trip our sixth time since then. Generally speaking, we like it here. It really does depend on when you come out and exactly "who" you get as your building's "neighbors". The four buildings here are each shaped like... more

This is a great place to stay if....... 1. You like ants, I mean REALLY like ants, because they are everywhere. Be sure to bring lots of ziplocks for ALL food not being kept in the refridgerator. Be sure to also check your towels and sheets, they like to hang out there too! 2. Construction noise does not bother you.... more

Stayed here on our honeymoon in October. I had stayed here before with my parents and had a pleasant experience. I thought this time would be the same. And my parents had just got back from a stay here in July and had a great room with a great view. We checked in on a Sunday afternoon and when we... more
