During the recent Tsunami, they didn't care enough to notify everybody about evacuating!! I am a single female traveler and was not alerted to the evacuation because my unit "was dark" and they "thought" I already left!'! (silly me , I turn lights off when I go to sleep....stupid girl!). Of the surge would have come up 1 ft higher,... More

I spoke with guest who is still staying here the morning of the Tsunami at 8:30 am on March 11th. We spoke about how the manager on site went door to door to notifiy everyone of the tsunami. He pounded on doors. Then the police came by with loud speakers. Then the manager on duty came by again and reported... More

My husband and I just returned from our 4th visit to the Noelani. Our studio deluxe unit on the 2nd floor of the Orchid building provides an awesome view of the ocean and swaying palms. With the bed located in the living area, we fall asleep to the sound of the crashing waves on the rocks below. The manager, Donna,... More

We have gone to Noelani the last three years. The view from your lanai is wonderful . It is just awesome and relaxing. We have made many friends there.

My wife and I spent 12 magnificent days at the Noelani in unit #206. The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. But, its best asset was the million-dollar view from the lanai. From the time we stepped on the island to the time we left, our favorite part was sitting on the lanai watching the non-stop display of marine... More

There are lots of positives about this Condominium Resort, most have already been detailed by a traveler that also stayed in this unit. The grounds, pool, location, views and staff are indeed great. Sleeping on the the ground level is challenging due the bedroom window right on the parking lot level and near the housekeeping storage. People talking, garbage truck,... More

We stayed at the Noelani from Feb 4 - 18, 2011. We stayed in a total of 3 units: #107 (one-bedroom), #309 (3 bedroom) and #110 (two bedroom) as our group dynamics changed. The staff was very accomodating with our room switches; we were able to remain in one condo until our next was ready for us. Sleeping in bedrooms... More

Everything was just perfect. Practical, good value, wonderful setting, and accommodating. We are coming back for sure and have already recommended Noelani to friends. Great for families, couples, or singles traveling together. Prices between Christmas and New Year's are crazy, but Noelani was an affordable place that exceeded our expectations. Facility is small and quaint, not like the mega-hotels down... More

The staff were friendly, made me feel welcome, and the check in process was quick and easy. They offered an orientation breakfast for the first morning but we chose not to attend as I am familiar with Maui. The condo was located on the ground level with the ocean just feet from the patio. See pictures. There is not an... More

At first glance, it looked simple, old fashioned, and quiet. Then we realized, that's exactly what we wanted. Our back door literally opened to the ocean. The waves crashing were always our background white noise. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. The pools/hot tub kept clean and inviting. The staff were helpful, kind and pleasant. The concierge above all... More

My husband & I spent the most wonderful, relaxing 10 days at this quiet ocean front condo. We had condo #104 on the ground floor with a lanai directly on the ocean. The views were so spectacular that at times it was difficult to leave the condo to explore the island. We always were back for a private Happy Hour... More
