We had an okay time at Nalipi Shores. The property is nice, however there were a few problems with it. The first is the noise, as isulation between the bedroom walls and the parking lot was minimal. This wouldn't have been so bad, except that there was a significant amount of traffic going through the parking lot to get to... More

Ninety of the units at Napili Shores are managed by Outrigger. Those units underwent a complete renovation in 2006 with new appliances, granite counter tops, carpeting, furniture, and flat screen TV's. Children 5 or over are now allowed to use the hot tub under adult supervision. More

Napili Shores is ideal if you want a mellow, lovely Hawaiian vacation. The rooms/studios vary, so try to find photos of specific units. The pools are never overcrowded, the turtles are always visible, the view is as calming as the breeze. You can swim, walk, snorkel, shop, get a massage nearby, sun bathe, explore tidepools, and more without every using... More

Have just returned from this resort where we stayed for 3 weeks in total.. No a/c is right and yes the wind does blow through but not quite enough for me, so luckily i had asked for a fan and did use it at night..Watch out for the bread delivery guy at 5;30 in the morning,, just on the one... More

I don't know what hotel some of the other reviewers went to, maybe they just didn't know what to expect. This is a very nice place to stay. You don't need A/C as the fans in all the rooms do a very good job of keeping things cool along with the Trades. I have been there the last 2 years... More

Upon checking in, we learned the entire property is designated as non-smoking. I have no problem not smoking inside the unit, but having to walk out to the street to the nearest, and only, "smoking site" is extreme...then to find no ashtrays, shade, or seating...unless you sit on the jagged lava wall. The next surprise was the lack of air... More

I am way behind on this review, but I want to give it anyway. This was place was great, and good for families even though it was just adults that went. Has a great breakfast restaurant on site. The only think I did not like was no A/C, if the trade winds don't blow, It get's too warm. If you... More

One of the biggest problems with these reviews is, it depends on who is reviewing, what their level of comfort is, expectations, economic level etc. is. Napili Shores is a low rise, motel style, privately owned condos. At one point, I am sure they were just rentals. If your into the 2-3 star level of accommodation, then you will be... More

Ninety of the units at Napili Shores are in the Outrigger Rental Program. Those units are similarly furnished and maintained to Outrigger standards. They feature new appliances, granite counter tops, new furniture, tile flooring and new carpeting, furnished kitchen with stove, microwave, dishes, and utensils. If you are looking for a high rise cookie cutter hotel environment, then we are... More

Recently took part in a wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Kapalua but decided not to stay at the Ritz due to the price. Ended up splitting a little rental condo at Napili Shores with 2 friends. It was tight for 3 guys, but met our needs just fine. The interior wasn't much to speak of. Very simple, very small.... More

We were searching for condos on the water with snorkeling preferable a low rise, and out off the major roads. We found this Napili Shores condo complex at Napili Bay with a studio with ocean and garden view at second floor just steps from the sand beach and turtle bay. It was very clean with a maid service each 3... More

This resort was just what we were looking for. Clean, well stocked kitchen and so close to the beach. We were there for Thanksgiving and found it quite quiet for the holiday. We love the family atmosphere even though we are newly retired. The grounds are immaculate and the staff very friendly. The maid service was fabulous. We loved the... More
