We so needed a relaxing vacation. Staying at Kahana Sunset allowed us to do just that. We spent most of our 9 day stay on the lanai enjoying the amazing ocean view. There was no AC but we were still comfortable. The unit was very nice but the view was outstanding. The grounds were beautifully maintained. There are five new... more

We stayed at Kahana Sunset on Maui in July of 2009. We rented a two bedroom, three bath condo in the "B" building through Sullivan Properties. A friend had told about Kahana Sunset and even though we thought all her ravings about the condo, grounds and price were a little exaggerated - we discovered she was right on. The condo... more

We booked the resort for our honeymoon. When we opened the door it was like walking into a sauna.Thinking it would cool off , we opened up all the window and turned the fans on high, it didn't help there was no cross wind due to the building layout. The room was so hot that my box of chocolates melted!... more

I choose this condo because I had read a review stating it appealed to an older clientele. It was great, no loud noises, no screaming, no partying all night. We were there for peace and quite and that is what we got. The unit was 2C2, everything was updated and done nicely. The bed was great and it was 150... more

It is difficult to get any better than the private beach and snorkeling with sea turtles directly in front of Kahana Sunset! My family spent our time reading on the beach, watching the sunset, skim boarding, and swimming (both at the pool and beach). Daily maid service was provided, which is an improvement from our stay earlier this year. And... more

My husband and I just got back from our week-long stay at Kahana Sunset and we were SO sad to leave! This place is so perfect in so many ways. We stayed in unit B-11 which is on the end of the B-Unit block closest to the beach. Best of both worlds- getting a great ocean/beach view, but without the... more

I stayed in Unit D-10 with my husband and daughter (16 months). There couldn’t have been a more perfect property for us. The Kahana Sunset is the only property on Keonenui Beach, a perfect little crescent shaped beach. It is very private. Often times, we were the only ones on the beach. The strength of the waves can vary, but... more

We've gone to Maui several times before we ever ventured down the hill to Kahana Sunset. From the road it doesn't look like much, but once we got on property and saw the beach we loved it! Our condo only had a small ocean view since there's a building in front of it NOT a full ocean view by any... more

Just returned from a 10 day stay at the Kahana Sunset. Do your homework before booking a condo here as they are managed by a number of different property management companies. Ask if your condo has been recently renovated. If not, don't waste your money. You may also want to ask if there is construction going on next door. We... more
