We just returned from our 2nd trip to Maui and Maui Kaanapali Villas. We checked in around 11:00pm and were greeted by a very cheerful check-in person (can't remember his name). To our surprise we found out they put us in the same room we stayed in last year at this time, room 517 in the tower with a partial... More

We absolutely loved this hotel. We had a studio apartment with partial water views. It was spacious and beautifully presented. The gardens are wonderful and the beach is private and not crowded like other resorts. If you are going to Maui stay here. Great cocktails by the pool. More

Overall- it was 'okay'- but next time I would go somewhere else. Maui is soo beautiful and there is so much to see, that its not necessary to stay in a beachfront hotel-- we only went to the hotel beach twice. The rooms appeared clean- but were not properly cleaned on a daily basis. The sheets were not changed everyday-... More

Aloha- Thank you for the nice things you said about our resort and our staff. I am sorry that you had roaches in your room. There is no excuse, so let me offer my apologies. I hope you will reconsider our resort in the future as the positive attributes are substantial. I sincerely appreciate reviews where guests are even handed... More

Our family of four adults recently stayed in unit 515 and absolutely loved our stay. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to an ocean view when we arrived. This unit is a one bedroom, one bathroom with 2 queen beds and a spectacular view of the ocean. It is a very modern unit with lovely island themed decor. We... More

We just returned from a great experience at The Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas. Condo #215 was a large one bedroom, completely remodeled with tasteful tropical decor. The king sized beds were very comfortable and the two big screen TV's and the comfy sectional (sleeper) were great. There was a very large, private, patio overlooking nice gardens. Some road traffic could... More

We gave back to our children by offering a 50th Wedding Anniversary family vacation. All 19 who attended said it was the best vacation they have ever experienced! The Kaanapali Villas was the perfect location, everything you need within walking distance or by trolley. The staff was so accommodating, the villas met every expectations plus, plus, plus! Even though it... More

Room didn't look at all like the brochure. Old decor. Furniture was old and somewhat run down. Dishwasher kept leaking. Hide away bed kept popping springs out onto the floor. Management staff didn't seem up to par or professional. More

We spent a week here in December in a studio with a full kitchen. The studio was very large and spacious with sliding glass doors out on to a large balcony with a nice table and chairs. The kitchen was very nicely equipped; new and modern; with granite countertops. It had everything we needed, for the most part, to make... More
