The concierge is arrogant and of no help. Air conditioner is noisy, but at least it does work. They is most probably better places to say at the same price. I wouldn't stay here again. Even contemplated moving hotels during my stay as so unhappy with the hotel staff.

If you are seeking a place that is under 72 degrees in the rooms, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE! Year after year this old building and outbuildings struggle with poor central air-conditioning. At least 1-2 times a week the air-conditioning will be shut down completely and will be 75-77 degrees in the Unit. Every year they say they are going... More

We have stayed here 3-4 times and love it. Most of the staff is very friendly. We had one grumpy person who checked us in, but the rest of the staff was great. The pools, on-site restaurant, and beach are great. Lot of stuff to do within walking distance.

My fiance and I stayed here in January of this year. When we first arrived I was not that impressed but I grew to enjoy it. It is within walking distance (if you enjoy walking) to Black Rock and beyond. Ka'anapali beach was only a block away and there is a wonderful walking path on the north side of Black... More

Very dated rooms. We stayed in the towers in a Studio. Clean room and polite staff, but room needed a major upgrade. The balcony was the biggest disappointment. Calling is a balcony is misleading. Only big enough to stand on. Could not even sit out on it to enjoy the view. Grounds and pool was nice. Excellent beach and it... More

First time staying at the MKV, as it is fondly referred to by its regular guests and unit owners, and we LOVED everything about the lovely resort. It's perfectly located north of Black Rock among peaceful, quiet, beautifully maintained grounds and adjacent to Kahekili Beach Park, which has outstanding snorkeling. Our ground floor "garden-view" studio condo (#155 in the Coconut... More

This is a low key, low rise, family style resort that is wonderful. Two pools, cafe, shuffle board and the best beach on Maui without the crowd. Great snorkeling right down the beach and there is so much to do! Walk along the boardwalk to Whaler's Village to the Hyatt. You can also walk north along the beach to the grocery... More

Recently attended a medical course in Maui. Everything about the Aston Maui was great. Great location, great resort, great staff, lovely grounds, great pools that were warm and perfectly maintained, warm, intimate resort. Great experience. Enjoyed the service, ambience, and food at the restaurant.

We have stayed at this resort 6 times.... Rooms vary from condos with kitchens to regular hotel rooms. The staff is pleasant and ready to answer any questions,, the rooms are clean, pool is inviting and the beach is terrific with great snorkeling!
