We chose this property for our stay in Maui because it was reasonably priced for Kaanapali area and we figured we would enjoy having the extra room and full kitchen after our family of four with 2 teenagers spent several days in a standard hotel room in Waikiki. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful, quiet beach and pool and... more

My wife and I stayed at the Aston Maui Ka'anapali Villas for five nights after having a good experience with other Aston properties. This was no different, as we thoroughly enjoyed the location and hotel. We booked a standard hotel room that was not classified as an Ocean View, but we could see the Pacific in the distance, as well... more

My Husband myself and daughter stayed for 10 daysat the kaanapali resort. We were not to happy with the room assigned to us on the 4th floor in the tower. It was supposed to be a one bedroom, but it was just one very large room with a small partition. However the staff at the front desk were very helpful and... more

I stayed at the Maui Kaanapali Villas the week of June 22 - 26. I wasn't pleased at check in with the garden view studio's hard bed and room location, but Stephanie at the front desk was great. She gave us the opportunity to take a look at several available units until I found one that was comfortable and suitable.... more

We were greeted by Joe at the desk when we checked into our room. He was very helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and whenever we called the desk for help, they sent someone up to our room immediatey. We enjoyed the big lanai and view of the gardens and... more

Pros: the beach is steps away, is clean, sandy, and semi-private. The staff is friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The grounds are immaculate. Parking is easy and plentiful. On site store is well stocked. On site restraaunt is good and not too expensive ($10 for a burger and fries that will cost about the same at Carl's on Maui).... more

The resort was actually nice, but I have 2 disappointments. First, when I made a reservation I asked and paid for an ocean view and got a slight view of an ocean behind the parking lot and the trees. The beach was excellent, and I think it was the best part of the resort. Pools are gated and accessible supposedly... more

Aston kaanapali Villas appears nice at first but declines quickly. Each of the units is independently owned and maintained, meaning its hit or miss for things like working A/C, television, windows that open and close. The room categories are meaningless. "Garden view" means parking lot view. "Ocean view" means if you walk somewhere on the 13 acre compound, you may... more

We stayed 6 days with my wife and daughter on second floor of Banyan building. The room was perfect with big balcony and nice updated kitchen and bathroom. the stuff was friendly though we did not use much of the service. We essentially were on our own in the room with cleaning service. We cooked 100% at home. Besides Safeway... more

We arrived rather late, were tired and disapointed in our room at first...4th floor, Aloha Tower, outdated furniture, and no lanai. After a good nights rest, we had a better outlook on our room. We loved having a full kitchen (saved $ eating breakfasts, lunches, and 2 dinners) , the short walk to the beach, being close to Airport beach... more
