The pictures are good, but the place is not what it seems. There are no hook or bar for towels in the bathroom or by the sink. We had to use the closet (with not doors) to hang our towels. Oh, don't forget the shampoo. Shampoo is not provided. We like the master bedroom. The bed is firm and comfortable.... More

This place was exactly what we were looking for, homely, comfy & rustic feeling. The host Sherry was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had the poolside suite, which was reasonably priced and fairly close to all tourist attractions. Gary was helpful as well. Sherry even bought us a birthday cake 'Hawaiian style'...really yummy since I don't like cakes... More

If you're looking for a great place to stay that is conveniently located just a few minutes from the 'heart of Lahaina,' is easy on the budget, and provides the comforts of home, then you'll definitely want to check out Old Lahaina House! My daughter and I stayed in the Double Palms (a room with two twin beds) and the... More

The Old Lahaina House is a little jewel of a place, lovingly decorated to the last detail. Our room was small, yet contained everything we needed. Staff is friendly, and the ocean is across the road. It is easy to walk into Lahaina's downtown. I would stay there again any time.

Old Lahaina House is a splendid choice when it comes to staying in Lahaina, Maui where the weather is probably some of the best in all of the islands. The rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. The location is perfect, as everything is within walking distance. We didn't even bother with a car rental as we never needed it. The... More

That's right folks. A house. You are renting one of a couple of rooms in a privately owned and partially occupied house. The room itself is very rustic, but spacious. The house is old, maybe why it is called Old Lahaina House, and so are the fittings and furniture. But it is a very well priced way of experiencing Maui... More

If you are looking for a fancy landscaped resort on Maui, this is not it. The rooms are part of a complex of living spaces. There are 2 apartments occupied by permanent residents in addition to the rooms for rent. Our room was pool-side which was perfect for us. While we were there, it was almost deserted so very quiet.... More

Sort of hard to find as there are no signs indicating that it is a hotel - no sure what is going on in the rest of the house but no matter. The location is absolutely perfect. Lahaina is a wonderful town and its such a better option that one of the nameless ritzy resorts. Its a bit like Key... More

I had the pleasure of staying at the Old Lahaina House last November. Sherry, the owner, is just a wonderfully warm and informative lady who welcomes all her guests with open arms. The house is within walking distance to downtown Lahaina. The rooms are unique with tropical flair. It was a wonderful experience!!!!
