This is not a very nice hotel but it is a clean bed to sleep in a perfect location and best off all a great price! I would absoulutely stay here again. If your looking for a grand resort this... This is part of the Royal Lahaina and so you get to use all of their facilities at a lower cost. The location is excellent. Wonderful grounds, nice beach and pool. The bar/resteraunt has great food and reasonably priced. The room was a good size with a fridge and coffee maker. The balcony gave a glimpse of the ocean .... More

Hey husband and I had never been to Maui before this trip so we didn't know how the island was laid out or what to expect. We had found a great deal online and decided to book it on a whim. It turned out better than expected. When we arrived at the hotel, we checked in at the front desk... More

We don't know how this hotel got a four star rating. The check in is at the Royal Lahaina resort and you would think this is good. However once registered you are driven on a buggy to the Ocean Inn, that's when the truth hits home. The stairwells are not a good introduction as they are jaded and worn. The... More

We stayed here 6 nights, it was very affordable in the Maui marketplace. Great beach access and all the resort access as well. The restaurant was expensive and it would of been nice to have a microwave at least, there is a little bar fridge in the room but that is it. The resort has beach towels for your use... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. The places has some maintenance issues but overall not bad. Room I had was not bad. Shower ceiling was rusted but nothing horrible. Was on the side of the hotel that had the highly Luau. The noise did not bother me as bad as I thought in fact one night just sat on balcony and... More

This hotel was great for a affordable place to stay in Maui. Our room was very clean and the resort amenities were plenty. This hotel is walking distance to the whalers villages which has about 3 restaurants that were always very good. This hotel is right on a nice sandy beach. The luau at this hotel was also great. Would... More

We've vacationed in Hawaii maybe 12 times since 1990, always for 2 weeks or more - most stays using 'points' from business travel so we stayed at some pretty nice hotels in the Islands (on Maui, the Marriotts, the Ritz-Carlton and once at some old, old dive hotel by the airport :-) just because we weren't ready to leave just... This property is part of the Royal Lahaina, which is a nice property. The Kaanapali Ocean Inn is next door. It is on the beach but that is ALL it has going for it. The hotel is dirty. I don't mean just a little dirty, I mean NASTY dirty. Stains on carpet, stains on walls, etc. Then there is the... More

This is in a great location of Ka'anapali Beach. Easy to get to driving. Restaurants and shopping are all very close at Whalers Village. There is a free trolley that runs as well to Whalers Village and other neighboring beach resorts. Room was large and even though I was alone, I had a room with 2 queen beds since they... More
