Holy sea turtles! This place was awesome. Got to Maui and had zero trouble finding the Kuleana. We stayed in #514, a top condo with grounds and ocean view. I'd highly recommend this unit. Spacious bedroom, kitchen with everything needed to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner, beautifully decorated front room with large tv, and the lanai was outstanding. My favorite... More

Great place for couples! Very quite, right on the ocean with amazing views and sunsets! Room #705 was most excellent, especially the owner and her attention to detail. The unit felt like home with everything you need, including all the spices and oils for cooking. Bed was very comfortable, nice couch and large shower. Nice binoculars on a tri-pod for... More

A friend and I stayed here in early March in Condo #207. It was really great to have the full kitchen, lanai and living room, in addition to the bed and bath. Arriving was super easy logistically, as we got there after the office was closed. The doors to the condos work on a keypad system, so you don't have... More

My wife and I had a wonderful experience staying at Kuleana. The grounds are incredible and the view from #413 was spectacular. We loved watching the whales and the sunsets from our lanai. We enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. From our ocean front condo the only sounds we heard were the sounds of the ocean. This is not an... More

My wife and I stayed at the Kuleana Resort from January 16-30, 2012. We booked with the owners directly and stayed in unit 415 in building 400. This building is ocean front and the closest one to the water, unit 415 was on the second floor with no one one above us. We spent countless hours on the lanai watching... More

We have stayed at four different condos on Maui on different parts of the island and for what we like, Kuleana Resorts is the best. There is a swimmable snorkeling beach on site, the large beautiful pool is heated, and the location is close to other great snorkeling beaches. The oceanfront one bedroom (we stayed in 401) has a lovely... More

We spent a week at the Kuleana Resort on Lower Honoapiilani Rd, north of Lahaina. The location is perfect for exploring areas of West Maui. The complex is a quiet resort, with a number of rental units spread out among some full timers. Some units are privately owned and furnished and as such, the amenities will be somewhat different, depending... More

The Kuleana Resort is truly a hidden gem. I rented #309 via VRBO direct from the owner, Jack Reilly, for a 5-night stay in December 2011. I highly recommend this resort to mature couples or singles looking for a quiet, secure, laid-back vacation. Young couples, singles looking for nightlife, and families with teens will probably think this place is a... More

This place is comfortable and easy. Everything you need (blenders to BBQs) and you can swim with the turtles, play board games and ping pong, do your laundry, etc. Central to West Maui, from here you can do it all and come home to a nice retreat. We stayed in unit #710 and (with 2 teenangers) loved every minute of... More

I loved this condo complex and I would totally return there. Of course depending on which Condo you rent the experience might be different. Condo 309: it was all we needed, very simple yet so nice and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Beach stuffs and body boards were nice. everything was in perfect condition. Small dishwasher, washer and dryer,... More
