This is our first time to Maui and we picked the Kuleana from the photos. We were very impressed with how well maintained the gardens, pool and BBQ area are. They clean the BBQ's every morning. The beach here is small, but we found that not to be much of a problem since there were not a lot of people.... More

We have stayed at the kuleana resort in the past just not this unit, we rented through vrbo and epic realty, we arrived and the first thing you notice is that the front door has obviously been broken into before ok a little disconcerting but ok what the heck. Secondly the bedroom had only one miniature light bulb working out... More

The Kuleana Resort was our first taste of Maui living, and it was memorable. The grounds are everything you are picturing "Hawaii" to look like, so many flowers, trees, birds, gechos to see right outside your lanai. We were there during the "baby whale" season, so saw more whale "breaches" and "tail slapping" than you could imagine. The condo is... More

I Love the Kuleanna Club vibe. It is laid back & relaxing, in the most beautiful setting imaginable, set on the ocean beach. The remodel and furnishings may not be over the top fancy, but they are clean, well maintained, and timeless Hawaiian. The decks all face the ocean where Humpback whales winter and birth in between the other islands... More

If my husband would have had a chance to write a review as soon as we'd gotten to the resort it would have had ONE STAR only. His reception by the ladies at the front desk left much to be desired and once we'd walked into the condo, it's DARK space did not improve his outlook on our holiday week!... More

I was one in a group of 4 that stayed at the Kuleana in December/January. I booked the Kuleana because it wasn't as expensive as some of the other places in Lahaina and because we spend most of our time out of the room. We all agreed that we would mostly be sleeping and showering in the room so we... More

Resort is nice and clean, There is a beach you can share with the resort beside you. The negative thing here is noise. The room we stayed in had no AC so that meant we have to keep all doors and windows open. Thus the noise. The road is a stone throw away from your room and the cars and... More

We used our banked week with our timeshare and were pleasantly surprised with is resort. The location is amazing with views of the ocean and whales spouting from the lanai. Turtles everywhere in the water. Two private beaches that are just magnificent! Cons: queen size beds. Also very close to the road. Bring ear plugs to sleep. View and property... More

We stayed in room 501 this room was on the ground floor. The room its self was ok. As in other reviews yes it did have our room in the back next to parking lot and road. Noise was not as bad as it could have been. This is not the Ritz. Its the grounds and the beach that makes... More

Value! Value! Value! Clean, comfortable and well stocked. This was our 2nd.year staying here and we had the most wonderful time. Amazing sunsets from the lanai and short few steps to the beach. Do not come to the Kuleana if you are looking for crowds or late night parties. We love that the beach is uncrowded and quiet. No hoards... More
