Words simply cannot describe the warmth and hospitality of this place. We were in a bit of a bind to find a place to stay due to an issue with our original condo booking, and we managed to spend four wonderful days at this B&B. The house itself is artwork, with each room being unique with a touch of creative... More

We are staying here at Hooilo house for 5 days. It is lovely, quiet with amazing views. We are here in whale season so we can see them jumping in the distance. Beautiful spot. Breakfast is nice and fresh every morning, we find the bed very comfortable and the rooms a very clean. Great bath and lovely outdoor shower. I... More

It has been exactly one year since we stayed at Ho'oilo House. I had done a lot of research, and decided this place was probably the best place to stay. I was no disappointed. The Honu room, which is the one we choose, was so awesome! I loved the outdoor shower the most, but I also like the Dan and... More

Located outside the busy town of Laheina, this B&B has met all of our expectations and more. The decor is charming, the staff professionnal yet friendly, the rooms are very clean with its own patio, the view from the pool is breath-taking but the access by car is somehow challenging. The breakfast is awesome with home-made bread and muffins... but... More

B & B's are not to everyone's liking but if you are like us and shy away from resort hotels and cramped condos you ought to consider the Ho'ollo House in Lahaina on your next visit to Maui. Perfectly located a mile above the beachfront and three miles from the commercial district it has the quiet spacious air of a... More

My bride and I were blessed with the opportunity to stay at such a beautiful, modern, open-air B&B for our honeymoon: Ho'oilo House. We're very excited about our memories and have plenty of pictures to prove just how wonderful and attentive the staff are (you can also easily meet the owners!) and how much value the property and rooms have... Me and my wife spent part of our honeymoon on Maui and truly had a great stay at Ho'oilo House. It is a really lovely place. Embracing and tranquil. And just a short drive away from great beaches and the town life of Lahaina. We would love to return some day and would strongly recommend others to book a visit... More

I am so glad we chose to stay here for our honeymoon. When you arrive it feels like you are visiting someones house... you pull in and this place is amazing, yet un-assuming... a parking spot just for you right in front, there are beautiful blooming trees and flowers, the little lizards scattering about the gardens, it smells like Hawaii.... I did a ton of research before heading to Maui for our honeymoon, wanting everything to be just right and money spent well. I am SO GLAD we went to Ho'oilo House. First of all, the location is brilliant on Maui. We spent a lot of time in South Maui and West Maui (mostly Lahaina), including a fishing trip and... More

We enjoyed the peace and quiet the Ho'oilo House offered. Our hosts, Dan and Amy, were welcoming, friendly and very hefpful. Breakfast was served buffet style and the food was delicious and plentiful (amazing homemade mufffins every morning). The rooms were beautiful and the outdoor showers were a unique feature. Mahalo for a great stay in Maui.
