Booked this place for our honeymoon based on Trip Advisor reviews. Loved it. Couldn't ask for more. It's amazing the effort that was put into making the place so beautiful. Accommodations even nicer than Hotel Hana Maui, which is saying something, because that place was also wonderful. Most comfortable (and gorgeous) bathtub ever, outdoor shower, plus Amy's fresh-baked bread in... more

My wife and I had scheduled 4 places to stay around Maui during our 12 day honeymoon. Ho'lio House was destination number 2 of the 4. The day after we left to move on to number 3, we realized we missed the place and wanted to go back. Got on the phone with Dan, the owner, and started booking whatever... more

This was a repeat stay for me and again...we were not disappointed. The rooms, the food, the views, the feel and the comfort and privacy is by far the best in Hawaii. Dan and Amy are amazing hosts and we have never been treated so well. It's always like coming home. Thanks Ho'oilo House. more

we stayed in Ho´oilo House for 3 nights for our honeymoon in august. We loved every minute of it and even added an extra night and stayed longer. The rooms are huge, beautifull, clean, comfortable - just a dream. Best hotel rooms during our whole trip - that is to say even though we stayed in the Four Seasons in... more

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon 3 years ago. It was beautiful, peaceful, private (no kids running up and down the halls!) and the views were beautiful. Looking at the website now more recently, it looks like it has only gotten better. I always recommend this place to people looking for a spa like, quiet, and private... more

In April I proposed to my NOW wife at the Ho'oilo House. You know on reality shows like the Bachelor when they always save the most special moments at the most beautiful places. Well after 1 week in Hawaii the Ho'oilo House was the perfect quit spot for me to propose to my wife. Our room was so nice with... more

My husband and I just returned from a week at the Ho'oilo House for our honeymoon, and we could not have picked a better place to stay! It was perfect for us, away from the hustle bustle resort chains...so relaxing and intimate...we felt like we were staying with a wealthy relative! We loved the Honu room, it had wonderful views... more

We too loved our stay with Dan and Amy. Beautiful house and grounds, set in a wonderful neighborhood of multi-million dollar homes on a giant, gently sloping hill overlooking the ocean. It was an easy 5-10 minute drive into Lahaina. We stayed in the Honu room -- which had a four poster bed and fabulous bathroom (the oversized tub and... more
