We stayed in unit 306 for 5 nights during March, 2015 which we booked through Airbnb. This place is as advertised. The view is spectacular. Once the door opens you cannot take your eyes off of the view. We arrived right around our check-in time of 3 pm and we literally walked in, threw our bags down, poured ourselves a... More

we came upon our unit via one of the on-line by owner rental sites. we wanted a ground-floor unit with ocean view and ocean access and you get it here to the tune of something like 50 feet. we didn't want a place where we would have to hustle down a long hallway to catch an elevator many floors up... Kulakane #213 The development was built in the 70s I think the advantage being that there were no limitations on the distance the building is from the sea. It is very close to the sea and the views are just stunning as you sit on the balcony. We were there during the whale season and watching the whales breaching from... More

We rented unit 310 for 5 nights. Forgot there would be a 3 floor walk up. However, it was worth it as this unit had the amazing lanai and ocean view we were hoping for. We saw turtles and whales everyday. The private access beach was unexpected and an added bonus. This unit is good for friends travelling or family... More

We had a three night stay in 2 bedroom two story unit. Quirky decor from the 70's but spacious and comfortable. Main bedroom has very comfy king size bed. Stunning views from the balcony. Great fruit market close by. Debbie was very friendly. Pool is small but access to beach is a bonus. The barking dog and early morning wake... More

We stayed in Unit 205 for 11 days and loved every minute of it. Clean, comfortable and a caring manager. Had a few minor maintenance issues and the manager took care of everything immediately with a smile. Friday night Pupu parties were a great way to meet friends and share good food. We came back after staying here about 20... More

Mahalo for the wonderful review! Our owners take a lot of pride in the condition of the property and the friendly atmosphere, and we are so glad you enjoyed it. We can keep it a secret - just between us (and the millions reading reviews on TA - LOL)! We will let the rest of the tourists go to the... More

Best vacation ever! Unit 205 has the most phenomenal views! From the comfortable lanai, you could see the turtles playing in the water, and relax to the most beautiful sunsets. There were also rainbows galore! We had everything we could possibly need from boogy boards to games, to a fully equipt kitchen and one of the most comfortable beds! The... More

Mahalo for your great review of the Kulakane! So glad you enjoyed our many turtle neighbors. Those local honu (turtles) are really our favorite guests! They gather every afternoon in the shallow water right in front of our property, and we love to watch them swim right by us! We hope to see you back at the Kulakane very soon. More

We actually had a group of 10 of us staying in 3 units in the Kulakane in August 2014. I stayed in unit 302. The unit was very well appointed and perfectly located to get just he right amount if breeze while we were relaxing daily on the deck watching the turtles! I'm quite 'fussy' about beds, and our bed... More

We have stayed at this condo on 5-6 occasions and keep coming back. Wonderful views of the sunset, the islands of Lanai and Molokai, and, of course, the tea turtles. They never disappoint! The new seawall is beautiful. The condo has everything you need. Debbie, who runs the place, does a great job and has lots of recommendations on activities... More

My wife and I stayed a week in unit 109 for my 62nd birthday and loved every minute we were there!! It was set up for us by our friend Candace Horton, who manages some of the units for the owners. She is an excellent source of info for the whole island! Our unit was in superior condition and right... More
