We stayed in condo 310 for 11 nights .. It was great.. Outstanding view of water, whales and turtles!! We saw more whale activity from our lanai than our paid whale watching trip !! Very well maintained building and unit. Attended the pupu party on Friday night, lots of fun. Other than the lack of space for groceries, it was... More

My husband and I and another couple stayed here in February for 5 nights in unit 306. This unit was well equipped and all the furnishings were very comfortable. The only problem was the street noise. As the unit does not have air conditioning and only fans, we needed to sleep with the windows open. Both bedrooms face the street... More

Mahalo for staying with us!! We are glad you had a wonderful time. The Kulakane and its neighboring properties are in an area of the island that has a small town feel, complete with the sounds of everyday Hawaiian living. Yes that sometimes includes a rooster nearby, and the noise of cars going by. Most of our guests appreciate the... More

Came to the hotel greeted with my name which i thought was nice and personal. Apartments directly in front of sea and very relaxing. Bedroom lights were not working and had cheap lamps instead. The bedrooms were horrible, old, uncomfortable beds, dark cold room. No air conditioning in rooms i used the laundry facilities which i paid for and staff... More

Mahalo (thank you) for staying with us at the Kulakane. We are sorry to hear that your unit at the Kulakane did not meet your expectations. We followed up with our rental manager, Debbie, but she was not told of any concerns regarding the unit. Each unit is individually owned and uniquely furnished, and if Debbie is made aware of... We actually own a place across the street from Kulakane but we are having plumbing issues so we we're put up here for five days. What luck!!! Unit 205 is beautiful, comfy and full of the aloha spirit. The turtle viewing is incredible as well as the whales watching . Do be aware that the beach in front is not... More

The view from this resort is amazing and breathtaking. Love the fact that it is walking distances to small local market and shops. Any issue with my room they sent out someone right away. Very friendly staff and it's family own. Highly recommend.. P.S. the bed is very conformable.

We stayed in condo 205 for just over a week back in May. The condo had everything you could need. The sunsets and view were absolutely amazing, out of this world. I could spend all day on the lanai. There were lots of sea turtles right on the beach in front of our room. Snorkelling was great, wished we would... More

My wife and I stayed at unit 211 in November just before Thanksgiving week. I couldn't recommend it more. The view from the lanai is incredible...we watched sea turtles in the morning every day. it was a very short drive to the local grocery store and lots of restaurants, and there's a beach park about thirty steps away. The managers... More

Me and my parents stayed at the unit 108 for a week. The condo itself was very clean and had everything we needed. Especially, we enjoyed nicely equipped kitchen, which had more equipment for the cooking then my own house. Location is perfect, very relaxing & quite. Great views of sunset. We swam right next to the condos and there... More

Thanks for the great review! So glad you had a great time at the Kulakane. Yes it is such a quiet spot away from the busy resorts, but it is super close to that yummy Farmer's market, snorkel gear, and a good grocery store! Mahalo for staying with us and we hope to see you again soon. More

My husband and I stayed in 203 for a week & it wasn't long enough! Every morning we had coffee on our private balcony as we watched the sea turtles play in the surf. Aaaahhhh. It didn't feel like a hotel - it felt like a home, with everything we could possibly need. And the managers were so friendly &... More

My wife and I stayed at this condo community for our 10-year wedding anniversary in September of 2013. The condo was spacious, clean, well lit and within almost spitting distance to the ocean. Beautiful views of Lanai and Molokai, not to mention the sunset each night. The beach is ok, but nothing really to brag about. The pool is very... More

Mahalo for staying with us at the Kulakane! It is wonderful to be oceanfront and so close to great restaurants, shopping, snorkel spots, and other activities of all kinds. The sounds of the neighborhood are occasionally noticable to our guests, but we are glad that you still had a wonderful stay. Hope to see you back again soon!! More
