My husband and I spent a week in unit 201 at Kahana Reef. The condo itself was small, but very nice. We were in an end unit near the pool end of the complex. We loved being so close to the water. The view was amazing! The kitchen has been nicely remodeled. We didn't really use the kitchen very much... more

We stayed at Kahana Reef condo for 2 weeks. We were in unit #221. We were absolutely delighted with the location and the condo. It is a 1 bedroom unit. The kitchen and bathroom have been recently remodeled. There is a great walk in shower, and granite counters in the kitchen. All of the accommodations were great. Plenty of linens,... more

We stayed at the Kahana Reef condos, unit 317--it was perfect for us! Plenty of room for the two of us; all amenities were good; no a/c, but not needed as the nightly breeze kept us cool; everything "worked" as advertised. The unit is updated, with good furniture and bed, and all that we needed in the kitchen. Clean. more

We booked unit 221 directly with the owners through VRBO after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. It was everything and more. We were pleased with how quiet the condo is and how well kept the grounds are. The building has two very nice gas grills available for all residents to use. We made use of one of them and... more

This was our first time to Maui and we liked the Kahana Reef. Unit 220 was comfortable and a good home base. When we arrived, the apt. key was in a combination lock box, which some may find cumbersome but worked well for us. They left another key on the island in the kitchen. So we had two. My first... more

Stayed in room 216 and it was WONDERFUL! Recently remodeled with upgrades including granite counter tops and new cabinetry in the kitchen. All condos in this complex are ocean front. Not just an ocean view. The grounds are well maintained and kept very clean. Even has a wi fi from somewhere near. I'm sure I just got lucky on that... more

This is our third visit to Maui in three years and my husband and I have always stayed at Kahana Reef. This time we opted to rent directly from the owners of Unit 221 through Vacation rentals by Owner –www.vrbo.com/199714. The owners were very easy to work with and graciously agreed to work with us given the exchange rate on... more

I did a lot of research when booking my first trip to Hawaii with my mom. We wanted a relaxing tropical dream vacation and our stay at Kahana Reef was GREAT! I read all the reviews on the website and we felt comfortable booking our stay there. I have traveled many places before and usually stayed at high end hotels.... more

I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet Kahana Reef is. The unit I stayed in, 201, is 30 feet from the water with a 170 degree ocean view looking at Molokai and Lanaie. The frontage is 150 yards of green grass and lounge chairs. Never did I see more than 9 people at one time out front by the ocean.... more

My wife and I have been visiting Maui and Kauai almost yearly since 1975. It is important to me to find just the right place for our vacation as our time together in Hawaii is always a unique and memorable experience no matter how many times we go there. That is why I spend a great deal of time on... more
