My husband and I recently stayed at the Valley Isle Resort, Condo #606 for part of our 20th anniversary trip to Hawaii. Our vacation started out less than perfect. We had multiple delays and mechanical problems with the airlines, but when we finally got to Maui and arrived at this wonderful condo, all of our stress just seemed to melt... More

A lovely resort right on the beach in Maui. Hear waves out your balcony door. See the humpback whales jumping in season. Wonderful sunsets and walks on the beaches. Great resort with lovely pool. Each unit has its own amenities and character.

We just got back from a 10 day stay at the Valley Isle Resort condo 707. We had an amazing time. I can't say I was disappointed with anything at this resort or in the condo. The condo was decorated with an island feel and the kitchen was well equipt with everything you would need for your stay. It is... More

We rented this unit from March 10 - 17 2007. The unit is beautiful and very well appointed. What struck us the most was the small considerations included and the extremely well equiped kitchen. Everything from baggies to spices in addition to all utensils, equip, etc. There were CD's, movies, tips on activities and dining - everything you could want.... More

The Valley Isle condo complex is in a very convenient location (across the road from the Kahana Center which has several good restaurants). It has a nice beach and the grounds and pool area are well kept. Unfortunately, the unit we stayed in (103) is in the worst location in the entire complex—right in front of the elevators which 90%... This review represents an update of our stay a year ago. Four of us recently stayed in units 610 and 106, both owned by the same people. The contrast between the two units is striking. First of all, however, praise must be given to the gracious owners who provide a wealth of information not only about the complex itself, but... More

VIR-Rental-Owners, Valley Isle Resort Vacation Rental Owners Group Leaders on behalf of the owners of these units at Valley Isle Resort, responded to this review

Over the past 2 years, the owners of 610 upgraded the unit with new tropical furniture, new carpeting and all new paint. Thus, we are uncertain about the “eclectic 70s style” comment from these guests. (Pictures of condo 610 are available on the owner's website which can be accessed through the official Valley Isle Resort website.) We realize everyone has... More

We stayed at this resort and rented a private condo #402 (owners also have 401) for 10 days. View was great and complex was very quiet. Condo had everything you needed to make any meal. There was even a washer/dryer in condo which was good, because you need to bring your own beach towels because the pool does not provide... More

Hubby and I stayed here in January 2007. Went through the Valley Isle website, which lets you book directly through the owner. We stayed in unit 1001, on the 10th floor, which gives you amazing views of the ocean and the island of Lanai. And whales!! We brought our binoculars--a must--and saw so many spouts and breaches and fin flaps... More

Booked directly from owner and everything was great, price is right, several places to eat within walking distance. Condo had everything, books, mats, fins etc. View is great, beach is a little small, but OK, don't plan on snorkeling here. Whales everywhere. Also if you get the chance, hike to the Waimoku Falls, the most remarkable place you will ever... More

We had an excellent time at the Valley Isle. My family and I stayed here from jan6-jan20. The unit we stayed in could use a little updating but was not a problem for us. There was everything you could possibly need while on vacation, boogy boards, beach chairs, umbrella. The kitchen was well eqipped. As we did do some of our own... More
