We've been to Maui several times. In the past (when we were childless), we stayed at the Westin. Now that we have a 3 yr old, I thought we should move over to the Sheraton because its quiet, has big lawns, and a kiddie pool. I travel quite a bit, so I see alot and expect alot. Unlike some of... more

My brother in-law was married here in Sept '08 right out on the first floor of the hotel out back over looking the ocean. It was a really nice ceremony set up by the hotel they let two doves go at the end and people where out on the balconies crying and taking photos (strange people to take shots of... more

My husband, myself and our two children (ages 10,7) recently stayed 12 nights at the Sheraton Maui. This was our second trip to Maui, having stayed at the Hyatt last year. We specifically chose the Sheraton for it's location. The beach is amazing and the snorkeling at Black Rock is great. During our first few nights, my son and I... more

We spent a tow days here after flying in from my sisters in Oahu. (I work for an airline so I'm at the mercy of standby and it was easier to get out of Maui). We checked in very early (1000) and I was pleasantly surprised they let us in so early. We had a garden view room in building... more

I would highly recommend the Sheraton...for it's great location, concierge and staff, and simple yet plesant accommodations. The location and grounds alone make the Shearton a great choice. If you want an all around great choice, book the Sheraton, you won't regret it. more

Ka'anapali is a bit dated as we drove up (I think the big money has now gone north to Kapaula), but the grounds are breathtaking, bed and towels are comfy!! Excellent snorkeling within walking distance at the historic Black Rock - some of the best I've seen! They just need more signage as we had a hard time finding the... more

The property of the hotel was very nice. The beach, pools, snorkelling were terrific. We liked the location of the hotel on Kanapoli beach and the proximity to the Whalers Village and Lahaina town. The room was fine, nothing spectacular but no issues. We were in building 4. The breakfast buffet was very good. We only ate once at the... more

My wife and I went there for our honeymoon and were upgraded to an ocean front room and got a complimentary champagne bottle. The service was nice. Also, there was free parking for guests, not only valet parking as in many other hotels. The hotel is right next to Black Rock and has an amazing beach which is perfect for... more

We just returned from a 5 night stay at the Sheraton Maui and we were very pleased with our experience. The hotel is in a perfect location to shops and to access of Black Rock; we were able to snorkel w/ the turtles and still be steps away from the pool. I was a bit disappointed with our room. We... more

Checked in early for 2 nights with my family of 4 and one other family. Made reservations for Building 4 (Nalu) due to it's close proximity to the beach. My husband has knee problems and researched which building had the best access. My friends got called about 2:15 saying their room was ready, even though they checked in after us.... more
