When choosing a place to stay in Maui, you have to make some tradeoffs. If you want to be able to just walk out onto a great beach, you have to deal with the craziness of the resorts in Kaanapali/Napili or Kihei/Wailea. Some people like that kind of thing, but we were looking for more of a relaxing getaway, so we... More

A close to everything hotel. The whaling, scuba, and fishing boats within feet of hotel. We had to park a block away but it was free and not much parking there is. We felt safe and yet in the MIDDLE of activities. We would stay there again. Across the street is Cool Cats a great place to eat. Our breakfast... More

My wife and I usually stay in name brand hotel chains like the Marriott, Hilton, etc. We decided to try the Plantation Inn during our stay in Lahaina, Maui. We checked in after hours/after dark but had no problem finding the hotel and locating the room key, which is left for you in a lock box. The rooms are very... More

We stayed in Suite 14 on the ground floor, it was more than we expected and beautiful decor. Wonderful location, can walk and leave the car behind. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff really on the ball. Dinner at Gerard's was Excellent, a bit pricy however, but worth it. I will not stay anywhere else on the West side of... More

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The location can not be beat. Walking distance to EVERYTHING. We parked our car and never used it while in Lahaina. The breakfast is included and is on Island time(takes a little bit since it is just a couple of employees serving everyone, but if your in a hurry they can pack yummy granola... More

I stayed once before at the Plantation Inn and remembered it as being a bit nicer. It is in a good location with a nice pool. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. The internet was slow and unreliable and we had a light that kept turning on by itself in the early morning for no apparent reason.... More

Good quality clean accommodation within the town. Great adjoining Gerard's restaurant . Only two nights here but very comfortable. Breakfast was very good quality and plentiful. Restaurant menu very good, quality and servos excellent but missed the tasting menu and wine paring. Always have enjoyed this. Pool area very piece full , clean and private.

Just a short stroll to the waterfront this inn provided us the perfect combination of boutique hotel and B&B. Cool down in the pool, enjoy a gourmet breakfast, walk into Lahaina and along the sea front enjoying all the village has to offer. Good value for the quality. We didn't eat at the restaurant however it smelled lovely. Very friendly... More

There is nothing that I can say bad about the Plantation Inn. The location is superb, the room clean and airy with a lanai, the grounds and pool are well maintained, the complimentary (served so a tip is necessary) breakfast delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. We were in room #15 and although the pool pump was downstairs in... More
