This was our first time on Maui and we could not have chosen a better Hotel to stay in, to get the true feel of Hawaiian culture and hospitality. The staff were more courteous and caring than anywhere else that we have stayed and I am brimming over with admiration and love for them that I find it hard to... more

nothing will ever compare- celebrating 30 of the most wonderful years of my life with the man of my dreams while dancing to the Hawaiin Wedding song underneath a full moon-it was a dream come true- the people at the resort were wonderful....had hoped to go back some but it was not meant to be as my husband passed away... more

We stayed at the KBH 4 years ago for our Honeymoon and had a wonderful time. We were back last week for our "Babymoon" and had a terrific time once again. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The grounds are well kept and the updated rooms in the Kauai Building are beautiful. We will definitely be back for many more... more

Stayed here for week and absolutely loved it. We even walked the beach daily and checked out the other resorts and still thought this was the best by far for the $. The grounds are bigger and more lush than many of the other hotels, and was one of the few places you got free nightly entertainment. The food &... more

What a terrific hotel. I just stayed at the hotel with my family last week. They certainly made me feel like family, The whole staff is fantastic. The guest service agents conduct FREE intereactive Hawaiian activities that really give you a taste of the island's history. What more could you ask for ? The staff really shows a lot of... more

My 2 sons and I and a friend went in June and we had a wonderful time. I had broken my ankle 2 days before arriving and the guest services helped me rent a wheelchair and all staff were very accomodating. My family enjoyed surfing, swimming, shopping, and snorkeling. The food was outstanding and the entertainment very nice. I have... more

There's really not much more to say. All of the compliments are very true. Arrived late evening and had an ocean view room booked, but an ocean front room was available for an extra $40/night. Front desk gave us a key for both rooms to check out first before deciding. 6th floor on Maui wing overlooking the grounds/pool and ocean... more

Wow! what a terrific vacation as my wife and I loved our choice of staying at truely "Hawaii's most Hawaiin Hotel" The grounds here are beautifully landscaped and without being overcrowded. The goregeous beach is just a 50 yard walk away and there's fantastic snorkeling within a 5 minute walk down the beach, don't need to spend a lot of... more

Others say this hotel is a plain jane, I thought it very charming. The staff is incredible, they go way out of their way to be helpful and generous. When I asked questions about places to eat and things to do I felt like I got a "local" perspective and not just a sales pitch for a tourist. The room... more
